Cynthia, I am not sure of all the rules and regs here, but to start a new thread, up at the top of this thread's page is something like this: subscribe to this thread, start a new thread....that is the one you select. Call it the name that you want and tell a little bit about it, like Maggie 14 did in the beginning of this one. Then you wait for people to contribute to it. I may have missed a step, but then, there are far more learned ladies here that can fill in the blanks. Good luck! I think it will be a good one!

Baggs, Wyoming. A tiny little town just north of Craig, Colorado.
Channah, we have been to Chehalis, have friends that have a green house in Vader. Beautiful place!

Michelle, I love history, and I looked up Baggs, Wyoming. I've only been to northern Wyoming (Gillette, Hulette area, & Jackson). I noted that you live in a small community, and saw a picture of the Gaddis/Matthews/Cassidy House supposedly visited quite frequently by Butch Cassidy and his Hole In the Wall gang. Now, there is history! Thanks for submitting.

Hi Claudia,
We were out checking cows on the desert one day, and came on to an old dugout in the side of a canyon wall. It was a very small room, and just the springs of an old mattress were left, and an old stove pipe leading out to the top of the hill. Found the lid of an old can of shoe polish, some rusted enamelware and broken glass. It was like going back in time, so neat. Rumor has it Butch and the gang left buried treasure in the hills around Baggs...never been found, but sure fun to think about!

I live in a little hamlet of 800 people. We do not have a post office, gas station, stop light, but there is a hometown convenience store. The hamlet is called Italy and we live on the hill. Our address is Branchport, NY, but the post office serving us is in Keuka Park, NY. For those that may know NY, we are in the Fingerlakes region, about halfway between Canandaigua and Keuka lakes. We love it here in our retirement home, lots of woods, gardens, pond. Marcie

Michelle from Baggs! That was a great story. I have seen pictures of the real Butch Cassidy (one rumor is that he moved and died in Spokane, WA, 15 miles away), but I'm thinking of Robt Redford & Paul Newman, burying their treasure around Baggs with some type of a landmark near!! It would be great if you found it, and I could say that I knew someone who is really famous and rich! ;0)

I live in Saint Peters, Missouri currently, a town of 58,000. We are selling our home in the next month or so, planning to reside in Amity, Maine a town of 200 people. We own six acres and an 1890's farmhouse in Amity.

Hi Marcy,
I hate to comment on everyone's post, but I recently found a dear friend whom I had gone to grade school with, who lives in St. Peters, Missouri. He and his wife live on Pandora??? I knew him when he lived in Spokane WA. Your old house in Amity sounds very interesting~

Rememberance and Species...I am so amazed at the ages of your homes. Ours is about 40 years old, and it continues to need fixing and updates. I can't imagine what may pop up in your homes!!!
