Hi Ladies!

I live in Trumbull, CT, close to Bridgeport, CT and it's about an hours drive to NYC. A few of us farmgirls live in the area and we're in a chapter headed by Nicole of Newtown, lots of fun. I've lived in quite a few places. One such place was Ft. Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. As a child looking out my second grade classroom window, I could see the magnificent Mt. Rainier. That year we saw so many national parks and scenic views of our beautiful country! I should like to travel to these places again!

I live as far east and south as one can go and still be in Mesa, Arisona. Literally across the street from the entrance to my development is Apache Junction. I have raw desert to the east of me and views all the way around of our little mountains...or rocks, as I call them (having lived in Boulder, Colorado, I really can't think of these as real mountains!...but they are pretty to look at.) Every day when I get to the point, on my way home, when I can see the rocks, I can just feel the tension drain away and my shoulders relax. They may not be real mountains, but they sure are nice to look at (one in particular reminds me of bell rock in Sedona.)

Ellensburg, Washington (the state). We're kind of a cowboy town melded with a University. Odd mix, but it works.

Whooooaa! I hear it is very cold up at Fairbanks the last several days. Have a friend who moved from Spokane WA (35 here) to Yuma, AZ (temp in high 70's). Her son is in Army at Ft Wainwright & lives at the North Pole. Guess he will be deployed in April.

Stay warm!

We are in Rio Vista Ca. Twenty minutes down the freeway is our farm. It's 300 acres in a tiny town called Thornton. We moved to Rio vista about 10 months ago. I really thought I wanted off the farm. I love the farm, but the house was so small. We have 4 kids!! The home my DH bought me is beautiful. It's 3000 sq ft. Vs the 989 sq ft of our farmhouse, But now, at night, I lay down, and just want to go home... amazing what 7 years on our farm did to this city girl. Give me the tractors, septic tanks, dirt, and spiders...

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

I live in Paint Lick, KY; pretty close to kymomma4, on a 250 acre farm (plus 175 acre leased farm). I wouldn't change it for anything!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.
