This is really bad when the organizer of a swap is the last to mail out!

Bridge, I received the beautiful cross-stitched 'ornament'. I brought it to our farmgirl meeting on Saturday and the ladies were ooohing and aaaahhing over it. Your handwork is just excuisite. Thank you, THANK YOU!!

Ladies, Bridge stitched a lion with a lamb laying next to it. Her card said, "In like a lion and out like a lamb'. The ornament is square in shape, stuffed and has a beautiful hunter green rope piping around it. Just beautiful!!

Blessings
Catherine

Catherine, I don't think yours is the last one going out. I cleaned up yesterday morning after the girls left, then we spent the afternoon at the property we're hoping to buy. I sat down last night to work on my goodie and realized I needed something. I picked up that today after church and finished. Mine won't go in the mail until tomorrow after school. I'm hoping to be much quicker next with the Spring Gift Exchange.

Sue, I'm so happy you like it! The pattern is from Mary Jane's (BIG) book! It was so easy. Yours was the first, but not the last, that I made from the pattern.
Still digging out,
Sharon

Sue,We got two feet of snow. Now it's hit the dirty, icy stage. No more fun. We may get more this weekend. Hope you are safe and far from all the tornado activity.

Sharon, is that normal for your area? Stay safe!! We got the tail end of the storms that came through our state over the weekend, thank goodness! Got some much needed rain on the good side of the storms. Let me know when you get your goodie in the mail.

About 20 years ago, when we first moved here, it was normal to get a few feet per storm, and a few of those per season. We haven't had it like this in at least 10 years. It used to start earlier too. Snow in March was more like the last of the storms, not the start. It will be interesting to see if this is a start of a new weather cycle.
I'm chomping at the bit to get to the P.O., but since the strom put a branch through my car's rear window, I'll have to wait for my son to get home and check for me!
You guys stay safe too,
Sharon

Marca, I got your wonderful gift today, too! I love the green checkered towel with the shamrock on it! It's hanging in my kitchen right now and looks great! And the chocolate, wow! Thanks!

Aunt Jenny, thank you so much for the goodies -- the flower pillow is so cute, and I really needed the "no pinches" pin for tomorrow. I don't own a single green piece of clothing! Both are so cute.

I'm sorry I didn't post last night. There's been something going on here (can't share at this point, but it's not with me specifically, but does affect me) that I was dealing with. All good wishes and prayers are appreciated. Sorry for the vagueness at this point.

Aunt Jenny -- I got my darling "Bee Happy" pillow and "I'm Irish For Today" pin. They are adorable. Oh to be able to stitch like you do!!! I'm a bad girl and just got yours mailed today. I sent it by priority mail so hopefully it will arrive on St Pat's Day.

Oh Marcia and Patricia-
Your little green handmades brightened my day! I have to admit that my daughter has taken the pillow- said it was made special for her since it is so small!!! And the sweets and towel are both put to good use (well the chocolates disappeared FAST but the towel is out!) You girls made my week;) I hope you all get yours today if you haven't already- we have had a wild week around here and they went out on Mon afternoon.

Aunt Jenny, I've been worried to death you wouldn't like it, especially after something I found out today. I know all you ladies here who are really skilled are going to think I'm an idiot, but I'd never sewn a clothing item before. I've made quilt tops and crafts, but that's all. Today, through the course of a discussion, I found out I was supposed to put the red thread on the bobbin thingy, too. I didn't know that! The back of all the stitching on the apron is white, which is wrong. What a goof I am!

I'm glad you like it and feel like a weight has been lifted. Btw, I sure didn't make the doily. It was just a "something extra" my grandma made. I hope you like the make-up as much as I do and the color works for you. Even if it doesn't, you can wear it around the house to get the feel of it and see if you like it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
