Well? Talk about feelin' our age!

Was up last night 'till 1:30 at The Dead concert

Did ok and didn't really get too tired. Now this a.m. was another story.

Was off from work anyway and slept in 'till about 8 but felt weird all day.

Guess it just takes a bit longer to bounce back now

I am 55 and will be 56 in July. Some days I feel way older and other days I can't believe it. There are times I am amazed that I got this far in life considering some of the stunts I pulled when I was younger. And some of those stunts I feel deep in my bones and joints some days. Other days I look at my grandkids (9 aged 13 to 18 months) and I cannot believe my kids are that old. I feel like I should be just starting out myself.

But then again, old is just mind over matter, or so they say.

I'm 44, and Lord willing, I'll be 45 in September. Some days I feel older in body, but in my mind I still feel like a kid. Still looking at things with child-like wonder.

Oookay, y'all ready for this?? I'll be 20 in August! I joined the forum when I was 17, I think. And you know, I don't want to get a bit older. I'm very content where I am...always been 'old for my age'...I've been called "15 going on 45" (several years ago, of course)...and people think I'm in my late 20s all the time...oh, and the 20-something guys who were hitting on me when I was 16, 17...

LOL

So I envy those of you who are older and are mistaken for teenagers. I fear aging because I already look too old!!!

I'm 54 years old. My hair is graying and that's fine with me. As a younger woman I thought that if I ever got old and a wrinkle on my face I would absolutely have cosmetic surgery. A little bit of vanity there. Well.... getting older has been the easiest thing ever. Gray hair and wrinkles don't bother me one bit. My husband loves my gray hair and tells me! I cried when I turned 30.Don't even remember when I turned 40. When I turned 50 I was just glad to still be here! Mentally I feel better than ever. If I would lose 30lbs and excercise regularly I would probably feel even better. I am a grandmother now and loving it so much. Getting mail with offers for burial insurance "ain't" cool though!

Kelly, it's all relative. I am 49 and not looking forward to 50 but hey, it's better than the alternative, right?

48 and loving it. Don't mind getting older, cause the result has been a wonderful grandson. I don't feel like I am getting older, don't always act like I am getting older. I just am enjoying life, friends and family, cause I don't want to get real old and regret not doing... Life is to short not to go for the gusto!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

I loved reading your notes. I just turned 48 in March. And I love my age. And my black hair is starting to get a "natural" streak that is so cool. You girls are great:)
