I'm 35 and I don't mind telling anyone...apparently I don't look it (all that clean, Farmgirl livin' I s'pose :))....I really hated my late twenties, tolerated the early twenties and LOVE my thirties (thus far!). Just had my first child 6 weeks ago, so it can only get better...

I am 46 and starting to feel my age, my body aches most of the time. Arthritis I guess.

Hi to all, I am 51. Just turned that in march. My mind doesn't know it though. I still think I should be able to get twice as much done in a day like I used to and my body just does not go along with that. So I would say it is frustrating cause I can't get as much done as I would like to most days. I have had to write shorter lists.

51 and proud of it!!!

It took me a long while to get to this, what I am now and how I am starting to feel :)
I always say i have just entered puberty, lol. Meaning I am now just finding out for myself what i like and dislike, my style of clothes and interior etc. All the things that I now start to remember from my childhood are taking it's toll but I am getting there, with the help of my Psychologist, my brother and his partner, my friends and ofcourse God.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

i love the way all you 50+ women celebrate your age. i am 28 and so far my life has been one earthquake after another. i cant help but think that by the time i hit 50, things will calm down and i'll really be able to start living. my mom found the man of her dreams and started a new career at 47.

I'm about to turn 54. I feel it in the aches and pains but the wisdom and perspective one gains from aging is wonderful! I hope I feel the same way at 90!Life is a gift no matter what age you are.

I am 50 and loooovvvvve it! I am so happy at this stage of my life.

I just got a really cute haircut and the girl who cut it was like 20. She actually said "I couldn't believe you wanted such a funky hair style. But for an older person you really can pull it off!" I just laughed and said "yes, us older people know what is best."

My husband is older than me and so at my baby's sporting events we look like grandparents and often get in at the senior rate...I love this too!

I am 64 going on 65. Glad to see there are other oldeys here. I was beginning to wonder if I was the ancient one compared to Alee, Jessie, etc.

I am 51 and love it. I remember thinking that 50 was OLD!! Except for a bum knee, I feel as good as I ever have. I love life and spending time with my grandchildren. My children are grown and have their own families. This is a wonderful age!! I wouldn't want to be 20 or even 30 again. "Life is Good"

Hi all, I'm 56 and proud of it. Wish I could say I don't look my age, well actually I don't, I look older. LOL. the chronic illness that I've been dealing with for the past several years has aged me quite a bit. My hair is greying, but I figure I'll just be proud of it, I earned every last one of those greys. LOL. I walk with a cane, very slowly, but I'm still walking.

I'm married to a wonderful guy who looks a lot younger than he is, so I have had folks ask if he is my son!!! The first time that happened I thought" I need to fix myself up a bit", so I cut my hair short and colored it to cover the grey. Later that week I dropped my daughter off at work and as I was leaving the young guard at the gate motioned me out and said"go ahead sir". LOL. I wasn't quite sure if I should be having an age crises or a gender crises. LOL.

Now I'm just enjoying my life and embracing everyday and planning my mini-farm here in the middle of town. blessings to all. Phyllis

WOW

I fall at your feet!

Had no idea most everyone on here was so seasoned....in a good way of course. Hazzah!

I am 39...guess that's not so young anymore either really. Most days I feel 20 something other days......more ancient

My mother has been graced with excellent skin and attitude. I hope to continue the tradition.

I am 52...I still dont know what I want to be when I grow up. I have only this year have felt older than my mind thinks I am. Because my mind thinks I am about 30...I still feel I can do anything. I started doing yoga several years ago and it has helped my muscles to stay flexible. I read and keep my mind flexible as well. Life is a wonderful thing and I will keep living as long as the Lord lets me.

>> Ha! <<

Here just the other day, my dear Tom sez to me, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" -- I automatically looked at him, an' without even batting an eye, said, "Do I have to grow up?!"

I will be 56in September..and when I have to say toms age, I love to tell people..."I'm married to an older man..." -- Hee Hee -- he's one day...actually something like 10 hours older than me...he's sept. 26, me -- 27th -- some customer service people think it's not funny, but most laugh away!

I'm so much more comfortable now than when I was in my 30's & 40's -- I was always so concerned with how I looked, what my hairstyle was..clothes..Blah!

Now I wear what I feel most comfortable in...wear sandals most of the time (tho not in winter...) an' just ignore those people who look at me like I'm just "Not like them" --

I don't even feel my age..matter of fact, I still feel the same as when I was in my 30's -- tho now I don't hit the club scene anymore..'cept the scenery out on my front porch!!

As the kid in me says, "I'm 49-1/2"!!! And I love this age -- old enough to know better, and young enough not to care!!!!!

I am 35 and loving it!! I have always known what kind of life I wanted and hoped for in my heart but in my twenties I seemed to care more about what other people thought. In my late twenties and very early thirties I reached out and started doing what I wanted more. Then once I found MaryJane, a little over a year ago, there was no turning back. She really was my guiding force in turning my life and the life of my family around in a more positive way. I am all Farmgirl now. So there is no limit to where it may lead me!

Thank you for starting this thread! It is just wonderful!

I'm 43, have loved every single birthday and decade so far. I have graying/whiting hair and love that too. I have wrinkles, cellulite and a rolly-polly belly.. It all feels great! I think I'm very much as my mom was at my age and that makes me even happier! ~julia

54 and happy as a clam. I am having a great life and love everyday I am here. But I do not like the gray hair it is colored every 6 weeks and will be forever. I wish I could keep the extra 10 pounds it seems to help with all the menopause stuff to have it off also but I am a snacker from way back.

I am 53 and other than the emotional aches and pains that happen to us all from time to time, I have loved my entire life. Hopefully I will age like a fine wine, and be seasoned like my favorite cast iron skillet! Hugs to all, Nance
