Okay. I just gotta letcha'll in on this. Sunny. 60 degrees. Blue Skies. Beautiful. Usually Ohio stinks in the weather department, but today is wonderful (too bad I'm at work... or supposed to be working!). Tomorrow we are looking at rain, which is why I'm gonna try to go business to business and put up signs for spring fling. I'm also on the hunt for jeans. I have the hardest time finding good jeans. And what is up with stretch fabrics? After I have them on 20 minutes I look like I filled my pants. I don't want stretch. Am thinking of trying some mens jeans... thinking. Wentto junk store the other day.... found a neat plaid sleeveless top for BBB and a red sifter with a flower on it. Oh, and a sock darner for a buck. What's everyone else been up to? Time is going soooo sloooooooowww here today.

Dawn, I find the best place to purchase denim jeans is at Shopko. Mine are Riders by Lee. They fit, come up to the waist, and can be purchased in short, medium, or long. Every once in a while they are on sale. I purchased three pair to go on vacation. The sale on at the time was buy one, get one half off. I had a raincheck for $16.99 a pair. None on the shelf. They got them in time for vacation and also my price. I got them for $16.99 ea for two pair and half off for the third. Such a deal.

Wind blowing a gale here, but supposed to let up by 10 p.m. It is 61°F here though, but you'd never know it. It's downright cold.

Just as long as we have a spring this year! Last year, especially on the Palouse it was Winter one day and then HOT Summer the next! I need the warmth of Spring to acclimate myself!

Good Morning!!!!! A new month, yea!!!!! "April, the Angel of the Months". VITA SACKVILLE-WEST

Hope everyone is ready to have a great day. Started mine of with a wonderful pomagranate green tea with a bit of local honey. I usually prefer black tea, but once in a while I find a nice flavored tea to mix things up with. Toast, made from homemade bread and my wonderful standby, homemade rhubarb jam. Yum. I am ready to make some new jam this year tho, so hoping the raspberries do well......

I'm off to Coeur d'Alene this morning to the Log Cabin Spinners Guild meeting, so excited, I just joined this group and it's my first meeting. Then I'll hit costco and do some other chores while I'm in town. Roads are a bit icy this morn and we have snow coming, oh, yea.....

Dawn have a great day off.

Tina good luck with your house selling projects, see you back here when you are finished.

Good Mornings Teresa Sue!

I started mine off by drooling over some pretty horses that live close to Billings and then finding out that there is a Horse Show here in late May. My first instinct is "Get Tala up here and enter the show!" But the top first prize money is like only $20 and there are only 3 classes Tala and I could enter (I think) and one class doesn't offer any prize money. To top it off, I would have just gone throught the expense to get her up here and I would have to pay dues and membership fees to the Montana Arabian Horse Association and so, even though the show would be fun- I think I might just go as a spectator. It should be a great learning experience.

Alee, are you showing Tala because of the money or to get her exposure? Exposure would be a good thing wouldn't it?

Betty- I want to show her for the exposure, and normally the money wouldn't be as much of an issue- but since we are going to be paying so much to get her down here in the first place and she will be a new additional burden on the budget- I guess my mind is balking at spending more money right away.

Gotcha Alee. I was just thinking that sometimes pre-expenses are worth the expenditure. However, if it is too early for you, then maybe not. Horses are definitely not like "show dogs," you can't just put them in the back seat of your car!

Well at least the show grounds are only ten miles away and I am sure I could figure out a way to get her down there (I don't own a horse trailer yet)

I am going to chat with my mentors- the people I am buying her from- to see what they thing and call the association to get some more information.

HI girls. So much for a day off. I've been to 4 different towns putting up spring fling flyers. Saty that five times fast. EVERYONE I talk to is so excited. I've been feeding off their excitment all day. I think it's gonna be grand. I know that a lot of you can't come but I've mailed you something to make you feel "included".

TS: Do NOT worry about those bottles. I was just wondering.

Alee: Congrats on the horse. And good luck in the show ring. Although I'm not into horse showing (I'm more rough stock/rodeo) I do love horses. I haven't had one since 1995, I had a Quarterhorse named Benny. He was of the Chip line. Had to put him down at 3 years. It broke my heart and have not had another one since. If you ever make it to OHio for Quarter Horse Congress, I go every year.

Okay. I'm off to finish some more air fresheners. I've an hour before bed. Will try to check in tomorrow while at work.

Mwah!

Hi Dawn-

Well I probably won't come to a Quarter Horse conference as my horse is a Straight Egyptian Arabian- That is unless I was going for the pure pleasure of going! I love both Quarter Horses and Arabs- Who am I kidding? I LOVE all horses!

If I get any time today, I'm gonna post the weekend menu over in the henhouse. Please feel free to offer up suggestions as I have no idea, how much or what everyone likes to eat. I'm planning on taking ya'll to Sunan's... a country diner, a lot of food for little money, once or twice. Need ideas that feed a crowd.

Good morning girls,

First of all, Dalyn, HAPPPPPYYYY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Second, be on the lookout Mavens.......something is coming to YOU at a mailbox near you, soon ;^)

I had a fabu time at the Log Cabin Spinners Guild that I joined. One of the members is going to be a vendor at the BBB in Oakesdale, small world, huh? She said Coeur d'Alene is a buzz with excitement over the BBB.

I take my hubbs to Coeur d'Alene here in about 15 minutes to have his other hand surgery. We had several inches of snow last night, so I'm hoping the roads aren't too bad.

I'll check in later, oh, got a couple of cool things at the goodwill store too, tell ya later.

Here's your quote for the day:
