uh oh... I think I should clarify. Its not actually a nut. Its a ball of peanut butter dipped in chocolate a certain way so that it resembles a Buckeye. I guess if you are not a PB fan, you wouldn't like them. I certainly think that the world revolves around pb and chocolate! I keep trying to think of things that are pertinant to Ohio to share, like Sue did with me, but I'm coming up blank. Dum Dum lollipoops are made in Ohio. But who really cares? Velvet Ice Cream won't travel well. Amish cheese is iffy... so I think I'm stuck with the Buckeyes.

Dawn and Lora and everyone travelling to attend BBB. Please be careful, have a fun travelling time, take good care of yourself and your luggages, arrive at your host's place with a smile and... ENJOY all the fun you can pack in a week-end.

Ha, I love Reeses pb cups, so I'll prob like them, yum. Oh, I checked on your flight, you do leave Seattle at 1:00pm and arrive in Spokane at 1:59pm...it didn't give me any info on your layovers.
Okay, Alee Bings are num yummy, but one will do cause they are rich.

I think I've worried myself into a headache. I've got exactly 17 hours left here in OHio. Hubby is already sad. Juney is sad and jealous. I'm nervous. My kid don't care. TS: stop cleaning, I'm just gonna mess it all up. Get to baking me some strawberry muffins woman! lol!
I have to stop drinking at 9pm so I don't have to pee on the plane. I wont pee on the plane cuz it's too cooty-licious. Ick.

hi gals,
have fun at the BBB.
I have not been on here participating because my garden is virtually non existant now what with our house on the market and looking to move.
I just haven't had anything much to chat about.I do still do a lot of my own research into organics/horticulture, and heirlooms...always have and always will..it is just who I am.
I have been planning/plotting out my gardens and finding flower seeds that I want to plant at a new home. But just really haven't known what to talk about on here.
I do hope you all have fun on your trip/visiting.

Hello ladies!!
Life keeps taking over and I don't have a minute to check in with you all.
My garden is plugging away but we have had a June that has been sunless. It has been cool and cloudy almost every day here. My peppers are tiny, my melons look like they won't survive. I have been working on keeping the weeds down and hoping and praying for some sunshine.
On Friday my sil called and was feeling sick and asked if I could take her to the hospital. She has fibroid tumors and they were making her uncomfortable and having pain. She is better now. On Saturday we got a call that my mil was going into the hospital. Her feeding tube came out and she had seizures. She is in a nursing home but they sent her to the hospital. She was admitted, they were able to fix her feeding tube but are still working out her meds so she doesn't have seizures.
Never a dull moment.
Ladies~I hope that all attending will have a fabulous time at BBB and make sure to take alot of pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know! We have waited so long and bam! It's here. :^)
Dawn should have been airbourne for two hours now, winging her way to us. Gotta go make up the guest room beds and dust, sweep the dining room and living room, put one last swish on the bathroom, bathe, hit Cheney to pick up DD's digital camera and off to the airport!!!!

Yes, do have tons of fun at BBB but those of us left behind will want tons and tons of pictures to make us feel like we are there. I can't wait to hear about all the fun you have.
It's been a quiet day here today. I got some things done, my son had art class and his friend from FL is staying with us. They have so much fun together.
Not much else happening. We have had two days of sun. YEAH!! It is supposed to be more unsettled tomorrow with thunderstorms. I am glad the garden got some sun. I also put some laundry out to dry finally.

I'm HERE! Yay! Washington is beautiful. TONS of pine trees. I slept like a baby. The time difference is gonna probably kill me going home but I was up at 5:15am TS time, and that's like 8:15 am Dawn time. So I still am on Dawn time. I honestly don't know what to do with myself that early in the morning.
Today we are going to pick up Lora. I guess we are going to go thru WA on the way down and then thru Idaho on the way back. I'm so excited I could pee! Only a couple of more days til I get to give EVERYONE big hugs from me, June and Kelley. Kelley and June, I bought you both an Idaho Spud...whatever it is, I hope you like it. I ain't chancing it.
Hoping that TS's baby chicks get here today. So I can work my chicken-whisperer magic!! LOL!

BTW: TS is the most amazing person. I love her to death. Her house is wonderful. It reminds me of the house I grew up in WV. The views are spectacular. Her kitten is a spaz. But TS is the warmest, kindest, light-hearted person I know. I just can't explain our connection. She truly is a sister to me connected thru the power of MJF...

Hey Ladies! Here's long lost Sue Feely! My son was married here last week-end and since they are from Florida I have been a very busy bee so I really haven't been able to get on the forum much. I do remember that BBB is this week-end, I am soo excited for all of you and can feel your excitement!
TS you are going to LOVE Dawn; I stayed at her home recently and she knows how to show one a great time. My best to all of you going to BBB and we want to hear every detail and pics would be great too if you can!
