Crap. I have so many really super cool aprons. But me thinks I'll have to wear the one that TS made me for a gift. And TS, that bundle of stuff is just a token of my appreciation for allowing me to spend a week with you. I gave you a wooden apple? Oh for Pete's Sake, I can't remember that! A wooden apple.....hmmmmm...... sorry. I'm clueless! Which, most of you are going to find out anyhow, I'm pretty scatterbrained. And its a funny, blong moment scatterbrained. So, I'm ready for the jokes! NO offense to blonds..... I have come to terms with my headupassidis. That IS a condition you know.... for those of you that don't get it. Break the words down.

Its been storming like the wind here in Ohio. And now its so hot and humid I can hardly stand myself. Lora was supposed to be here an hour ago but she cant refrain herself from stopping at yard sales. So, I'm still waiting on her. We are doing a craft show tomorrow IF the weather holds out. I can take the heat, but I ain't standin under a tent in a thunderstorm. Heck no!

Corrine, I'm so glad that you liked your goodies. How was the honey stick? Don't tell me I forgot to put that in there! One year I hid Christmas presents and couldn't remember where I put them. I found them again in MARCH. That is a true story. I'm a butt-head.

Okay. I have a white apron with veggies on it. I have an aqua blue with pink stuff, I have a garden inspired apron, and then I have 3 full aprons, one with veggies in which I wear to farmers markets (thank you Marcy!) one with a varied red pattern and one with a coffee cup on it from Corrine. Oh yeah, and then I'll have the COVETED apron in which I WON here on the forum. So which one should I wear junkin? The one that I won is a holiday apron, but I'm pretty excited about glueing it together (LOL, if you know my sewing skills you'll get it. My best friend is fabric glue and I have it right next to my sewing machine! ASk June!) Sigh, decisions, decisions....

Annika, I am so excited to meet you. As Karen would say, the mouse of the group. I'm equally excited to meet everyone else and my head is going to be spinning from all the fun.

Marcy and Corrine, dont you worry, I do plan a couple of more bashes here at some point. Sue? How are you feeling? Better I hope! And Karen, are you settling in to your new age? I hope your garden is growing well. Okay. Well I should tie up some loose ends for the craft show tomorrow. talk with you all later!

MUCH LOVE!

HAPPY SATURDAY!!! I hope all of my Maven sisters are enjoying the day. I'm off to fix my fences so the landlord's goats stay out of my yard. They really trashed things yesterday. Blasted beasties!
TS keep me posted on what time we are all going to meet up for the road trip =)

HI Kids! Lora just left from another wild and wacky wknd at my house. We had a mud fight. Yep. We were mud wrestling and it was a hoot!

Anyhoo.... in our junkin travels I found a vintage flapper dress that would fit a size 8-10. Lemme know if you want it. I'm putting it up for barter as well.

HI ladies!

So whats on the agenda for today? I'm at work and the phones are NOT ringing so I'm purusin the MJ site and still trying to revamp my packing list for vacation. I found a cute prairie type skirt (broomstick??) like what Rene' had on when she came to Ohio, but.... Man, I am NOT a skirt girl as much as I try. I am having trouble finding a cute top to go with. Then, Lora and I went shopping this wknd and I found a darling art-deco type shirt to wear Sat, but have no bottom. I was thinking of gluing myself a pair of palazzo pants together (lol) but I am running out of time for all my projects.
TS: You never did tell me what the wooden apple was in your box. I'm perplexed.
I cannot believe that in exactly 8 days I will be on the west coast. the hubsters is already getting teary-eyed at the meer mention of my trip. Awww..... He hates the idea of my flying, and hates it even more that I'm going acrossed the country.
So.... it's only 10:10am here and I'm bored to tears. I will see what else I can play with until I get caught....

Hello ladies!

I feel like I've been away forever. We had a crazy month of June. We worked on our living room, finished school, worked on a book sale~that ended up being a bust and we didn't make the money we needed~, went on vacation, came back to pick up our dog who didn't want to eat and was a bit depressed, went to work, celebrated dd's 16th birthday, and had a nice father's day. The time has just been flying. I can't believe it's the end of June.

It's been raining constantly here in the Norht East. We went to PA for our vacation and had a great time.

I miss all of you.

I hope that you all have a great fun time at BBB. Wish I could be there with you.

Thanks, Ladies!!

I am so thrilled to be back.

Now I'm hoping for some sun and warmth. I want my garden to make it since it's done so well until now.

Ruth - wow, sounds like quite a month. Mine has been a bit crazy too, actually May and June combined. I'm looking forward to some just plaing visitin' and sittin' time. I haven't been on the forum much with all the projects and work but I think about y'all a lot and wonder how you and your gardens grow:D I'm so looking forward to the maven roadtrip next week - next week????!!!!! - holy cow. Thanks for the 7% e-mail Teresa Sue, there were a couple good reminders on there for workaholic me. Today I am "retreating", as in having an individual retreat - books recipes and a clean house, maybe some old pictures too. And, complete silence
Talk to y'all soon

good luck TS!!

I have been chained to my sewing machine ladies. I am whipping up some really cute doll clothes. All the soap is made (has been for a while now), and I am thinking I will make a couple of batches of my bath powders to take along as well. Maybe some silky sheet powder to boot? We'll see!

I hope you all enjoy my mom and my stall. (gosh that sentance looks weird but I think that is gramatically correct... oh well you get the idea! LOL) Mom has been making some KILLER jewelry lately and she found some cool beads that are PINK TRACTORS! How cute is that?! She is also going to have a portion of the stand where kids can do a "Make your own necklace" for just a few dollars. I think that is a great idea!
