((((DING))))) BIRTH (there is an angel holding a new baby)...Given your situation about moving, even if it is next door..sounds to me like you're 'birthing' some new things in your life!

How's little Aria today? I haven't seen anything lately.
A friend of mine has breast cancer and is having her last session of chemo next week. She's having a "No Moe Ke Moe" party at church. I thought that was cute.

It is my DELIGHT to draw angel cards any time anyone needs one!
Julia your angel card is:
(((((DING))))) EDUCATION (There are 4 angels on this card. The main one is envisioning 3 student angels surrounded by books and art. They are encased in clouds, which says to me that one who teaches must also be a constant student)
Ruth your angel card is:
((((DING))))) TRANSFORMATION (the angel on this card has a great yellow light glowing on one side of her body. The light changes in color across her body.)
Bridget your angel card is:
((((DING)))) COURAGE (This angel is flying downward as if she is diving head on to face whatever it is she must!)
Kris your angel card is:
((((DING)))) FAITH (I find this a challenging picture to describe. I suppose it is because I find faith a difficult thing to define. In this picture there are 2 angels and they are swirling around the word faith. One angel looks as if she trying to grasp the very word, while the other looks as if she's reaching for her paired angel.) I have to tell Kris, that whenever I draw an angel card and one pops out of my bowl or I select 2 it is always meaningful. When I drew yours, the card FORGIVENESS jumped out. On this card there are 2 angels. One is standing and the other kneeling. The one standing has her hands on the other's shoulders and they looking into each other's faces. I like this picture, because so often in our plea for forgiveness we look down, thus looking down upon ourselves instead up into the eyes for whom we seek forgiveness and liberation.
For your friend who is about to finish a monumental task, I've taken the liberty of drawing her a card too. Her angel card is: ((((DING)))) FLEXIBILITY (the angel on this card looks as if she's doing yoga!) I am so pleased she is on 'the other side' of her treatment! It is my belief that people who survive to reach the other side are indeed changed. They are bestowed a new lens upon which to gaze this life and they have a tremendous amount of wisdom to share. I'll look forward to hearing from you about your dear friend and what she sees, what she senses, what she knows.....She is in my heart and so are you.

Thanks Julia. How interesting to me that education is my word, on 2 accounts. 1- I was asked by one of the younger gals at church to teach her a a few others how to teach 2- with the passing of my husband, I am now looking at my future as to what I should do, going back to school is an option. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.

Laniey, I think about you all the time. I'm marveling at your continued participation here. I don't know, part me thought that with the death of a loved one, one withers up themselves. Maybe they do, but you sure aren't. You don't know this so I'm telling you, but seeing you here so often participating in life as it continues on gives me a tremendous sense of hope. It is all such a mystery to me....You write about God working in mysterious ways and your tag line is that of St. Augustine who was one of the greatest early ecclesiastical leaders and teachers. Ruth!! Transform that clutter!! You go girl! I'm doing the exact same thing..well, not at this moment but I will. My sewing studio is a DISASTER and I have got to sort it before I can do anything!
Thank you so much for asking about Miss Aria! Cyber-smooch right at you! She is better, not 100%..We are all better, not 100% but better. She wants to go to school so badly but I'm not letting her. Just too risky still. Tomorrow we go to clinic to check her counts and that will help determine if she can go to school on Thursday or Friday! Thursday is a BIG night for us. Reo will be getting his award for Courage! I'm thrilled...I hope we can go and I have ever reason to believe we ought to be able to..It will be what it will be..

Thank you Julia for drawing one for me and for the kind words. You know, my first impulse is to have drawn away and isolated myself. I did that for a while, still do on occasion. But I know that my mother would not have wanted that. As sick as she was she didn't do it. While in the nursing home and the hospitals she kept interested in all around her. There were times mom sent me on errands or asked me to help her order things for the nurses and aides who attended her. She wanted them to have little gifts to show her appreciation.
Congrats to Reo for his award, I know you are so proud of him. And I keep Aria and your family in my prayers always. She's such a sweet one, and so are you!
