Hey y'all,
I will be working on letters soon. My uncle deteriorated very quickly and entered hospice July 1. He died on July 8th and the funeral was yesterday afternoon. I will be going down to the post office this evening to check for mail so if you have sent a letter it may be down there. Thanks everyone, for your prayers, etc. They have been a blessing.

Haven't been on MJF site for months - getting out house ready to sell was a lot more work than we had anticipated! Plus a lot of "family" stuff going on too - sure you all can relate.
But would love to take pen to paper and write some letters. Here's a little diddy about yours truly:
62 (feel like 30), live on top of a mountain in the Black Hills, love to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, read, know how to spin (but not too good), locker hooking, and have a braided rug I've had going for a couple of years. Married for almost 13 years (2nd time around), 5 kids between us and 13 grandkids. We love to travel and camp and go off roading. When our house sells we're moving back to Minnesota (originally from the Savage/Prior Lake area of the Twim Cities) to be closer to all the grandkids - or at least half way between them.

Annie, sounds like we have a lot of shared interests, will write asap.
Rene' Loved your blog about letter writing, Have to chuckle because I visualize the mail man dragging in bags of mail ala Miracle on 34th st and yelling Who the heck is Rene'? I am sure will will have tons of fan mail from some flounder?

Look forward to receiving your letters and writing back to you. Going to have two of our 13 grandkids here with us for a week and then take them home to Moorehead, MN and babysit for another two weeks before school starts. So hopefully I can get some letter writing back to you all while I'm up there.
I just lost a very dear pen pal this last week. She was the mother of a MJ Farmgirl. We became so close over the years and even tho we knew it was coming it was still very difficult to lose her. I'll miss her and her letters very much.
Can't wait to her from your girls and writing back. Have a wonderful weekend and do something good for yourself.

Hi folks!
I am behind on mail but am slowly getting caught up. Toni and Jessie have letters going out tomorrow. If you have sent a letter in the last 10 days I don't have it yet. An issue came up with the new car and we have not been able to drive down to the post office. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow afternoon.

I love writing letters and I'm the only one out of my friend that like to write letter rather than e-mailing. I would love to write somebody, but who would want to write a 14 year old girl?!?!?! Please don't feel that anyone has to write me out of guilt.

I had no idea you were only 14. How did you find Mary Janes Farm? I think it's a great place for you to hang out! I'm not sure if you have found anyone to exchange letters with , but I will ask my granddaughters if they would be interested.
