When Rhon gets home we are off to Wal-Mart to get him some little things; a reading light, a magazine or two and a small radio with headphones since he doesn't like TV. I am baking him some plain chicken (he said he missed the kind he would make) and he said he likes chocolate chip cookies from Aldi's so we'll be swinging by there, too. Then it's to the neurologist for an MS checkup and then to the rehab center. God bless y'all and thank you; it means so much.

Apologies, apologies my letter writing friends! I'm a wee bit behind (with everything!) all of your letters are written and ready to go as soon as I find some stamps! Huge storms came through here this past week and blew all of our electric out for days...that put me behind even more! We've been camping out at my mom and dads house while they're on a "senior" trip with my daughter to Europe! Thank goodness they live so close...we through our small freezer right in the back of my truck, plugged it in their garage and thankfully saved everything! Sorry...going on and on! Letters will be arriving soon!!!!

I will sit down and get chatty after I get back today from shop hopping .... Going to 8 different quilt stores in 2 states ... such fun :)

| I'd love to start getting letters from farmgirls like me. I have a couple of penpals that I write to, but you can never have too many. I'm twenty-three (soon to be twenty-four), married to a great man, and expecting our first child, a little girl, in October. I have my own business (The Gallivanting Girl) in which I sell my artwork and all sorts of auction finds online. I have two Associate's Degrees--one in agribusiness and one in fine arts-studio concentration. I live on a small farm in Southern Indiana with chickens, horses, dogs, cats, and usually all sorts of other livestock (I've downsized a bit until after the pregnancy). My mother-in-law and I have a nice garden and I planted quite a few fruit trees and bushes that will provide for us in the future. I love auctions, antiques, livestock, self-sufficiency, art, books, and a million other things. My favorite thing to do is go driving down the backroads with the windows down and the radio up looking for forgotten towns and neat places. Anyone want to write me? |
