I figured that I can come up with at least one thing a day that is good. A little way to count my blessings!

My one good thing is: I finally made Silver Powerseller on Ebay. Yea me!

Congratualtions, Kathryn, the Silver Powerseller!

I went to visit a friend this morning. It was a treat for the senses because on the way saw a pasture with hereford cattle and their adorable calves romping, phlox blooming wild by the side of the road, a field of fresh-mowed alfalfa that smelled heavenly, and then had a good laugh about the scraggly old muscovy ducks asleep on a picnic table.

Got to see my daughter's concert band (she plays flute and bassoon) do their final concert of this school year. Very good band.

Yea!!! I have one more--I had a night out with hubby (and business people), had dinner at a hoity-toity 5 star restaurant where the food looked like art and we didn't have to pay for it. I also discovered that paying $130+ for a 5 course meal doesn't make it taste any better than a great local steak on the grill.

Well yesterday I found little squash on my plants. Today I'm having lunch with my mom. I'm sure there will be lots more good things happen, but it's not 8 a.m. yet.

I lost my camera (with my mother's day pictures, baby pics of Vi from the last 4 months and various other memories) at the Mayslick Asparagus Festival on Saturday...heartbroken, I called the festival organizers (which sounds a LOT more lofty than it really is...the town is about a second big) and sadly no luck...until YESTERDAY, when Robyn called me to say that it had been found in the old Negro School building they are renovating to turn into a museum and public library. I'd left it there while making a donation to their project!!! Wonderful people...and I guess what my mom said was right: one good turn, turns another!

We have received 3 days worth of off and on rain. A dumping at some times and sprinkle at others.

We needed it badly. So let's hope the tomatoes and blackberies will get the jump they needed!

And tonight we'll go hear an African kid's chior at our church.

There will be a collection taken up a the end. This will help support kids in 8 African countries. I know it will be time well spent!

I got my sewing machine working again! I refused to pay $170+ to get it serviced so I took it apart and oiled it and cleaned it as best as I could. The zig zags are zig zags again!!!

Yay Tammy! :)

I really LOVE reading this thread. There are SO MANY blessings, so many things that we often take for granted.

Mine today was:

My husband brought home some Tansy for me. A customer asked him to dig up 4 plants for her and get rid of them soooo I will be planting them this evening. I had just read about Tansy being a natural insect repellant and this will come in handy with the livestock next door :)
