Delivering a still-warm-from-the-oven buttermilk pie to my son, who's under the weather. And then taking his two little ones to the dollar theatre to see a fun movie.

So today I got off work a little early and was able to get into my "garden" and start playing around. I have a container garden. When I started about 6 months ago the dirt that was around my patio has a bunch of bugs but I didn't see any earthworms! I found about a dozen earthworms today. I found a really long one as well. I was so excited. Just the little things like that. So I transplanted some herbs I got from the local farmers market into bigger pots and I can't wait to start being able to harvest from them. I'm so excited! It really made my day!

Tea time with the kids today~ we are reading a chapter book, portions of the Bible, and discussing improving our character. Always a great time! We have fresh baked banana chocolate chip muffins, tea, red grapes, and sandwhiches...I love homeschooling.

My knitting group friends and I all went on a 'field trip' to a yarn shop, a bakery, and then we went out to lunch.

Waking up to a beautiful day on my farm, next to my wonderful and understanding dh. He hasn't seen much of me lately, due to an aunt to has been very sick, yet he just kisses me goodbye and tells me he's there for me if I need him. Yep. That's a joy to me, alright!

My simple joy today is knowing that my daughter is coming in the morning for a 24 hour visit. She used to come a couple of days a week being as I'm ill, but since she found her new boyfriend she hardly comes over at all. **sigh**

My simple joy is that the wind isn't blowing 50 mph today! It's very calming to the spirit to have calm airwaves.

Seeing my daughter and her boyfriend reading the Bible together. Actually, that is a big joy!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

My simple joy today was scoring great bargains at Goodwill. My score includes two pairs of Born shoes for my daughters funky feet. I would really have to scrimp and save to buy her one pair brand new, so buying two pairs-almost new for six dollars a pair is such a blessing.

my other joy is doggie hugs and kisses from Angus.

Don't miss out on a blessing, just because it isn't packaged the way you expected. ~MaryJo Copeland

My simple joy today was hearing good news last night that my son and his friends had found a place to rent for university next year, and secured it! They only have one month left of school, then have to move out of residence, and the rentals were being scooped up so fast! Now they don't have that worry, and can focus on their exams!

My simple joy today is that the sun is shining and the winds/storms are gone so I can get outside and do some planting in the raised bed hubby and I made.

My simply joy today is seeing one of my little boys (students-they're my kids) laying flat down on the rocks patting one of my little girls on the back asking if she was OK. It seems they collided at recess, and he looked up at me "Mrs. David, do you think she's going to die?" with as sincere a voice as I have ever heard.

Waking up to my Rooster crowing to tell me its time to get up, then watching my hens scratch to get their own food, as "Magoo" (my rooster) tells them where to scratch...ahhhhhh.......simplicity!
