The sun is shining brightly and it's warmed up outside. The birds are singing cheerfully in the trees, and my daffodils are just starting to peek up from the ground after their long winter's nap.

Diana...just a little over the border down here the daffodils are up and have been blooming all week! Even though they got snowed on last Saturday and it's 60 today and 70 tomorrow! Simple Joys!

The steers sold for a very good price And Tim has work!

It's not about being perfect, but enjoying what you do. Set aside time to be creative.

SUNSHINE and WARMTH! A couple of colleagues and I finally made it out of bldg today into the sunshine. We just stood on the sidewalk facing the sun with our eyes closed like turtles on a log. Yummy!

I have three, one of which is from yesterday.

It was dusk, and I was driving to through my Mom's neighborhood. Up ahead, I saw legs moving strangely. I thought it was a bunch of kids running, so I slowed down. As this herd approached my car, it registered in my cluttered brain that it was a herd of deer, not children approaching cautiously. The one in front watched me closely to see what I would do. I inched forward a little bit and she got the hint to cut through a nearby yard and go another way. Definitely NOT what one expects in a large suburb, but very cool too.

Another simple joy was sitting on the living room floor sorting clothes with my daughter. Giggling and wondering in some cases "what were we thinking??????"

My last joy to mention was teaching her how to properly clean the bathroom from top to bottom for her FACS homework! She was so proud of her accomplishment when it was finished.

Don't miss out on a blessing, just because it isn't packaged the way you expected. ~MaryJo Copeland

My simple joy today was waking up with my two little boys snuggled in my bed with me, and having my littlest one give me a big, wet kiss right on the tip of my nose. Another was actually BELIEVING that we slept in until 7:00am (until I realized that my husband had already "jumped" the clockes forward an hour!).

XOXO, Libbie

My simple joy today is enjoying this snowstorm we're having. It is gorgeous. I'm sitting here reminding myself that despite being inundated with images of Spring, despite being inundated with advertisements for Spring, and despite being inundated with marketing ideas of Spring on its way, Spring is not yet here and that is ok.

So, I'm simply coming back to what is and enjoying it without losing my joy over what isn't even though my psyche is trying to be convinced otherwise.

I'm enjoying these last few days of snow...snow suits..sno boots. mittens. hats and hot chocolate served in a fancy tea set!

I'm simply enjoying snow. ~julia

My simple joy today was walking outside to see the goats in their paddock, and the sheep and donkeys in their pasture, ALL flat as pancakes, snoozing away on the ground in the strengthening spring sun.

How they were just IN THE MOMENT made me stop and enjoy the sun myself.
