Thanks, Kristin! Still no little one yet, but boy-howdy does my back hurt! I guess she'll come when she feels like it...already a Lynch (my husband's name)...fashionably late.

I had a little melt down a few days ago thinking about the "coming home" part, but I think I'll make it :) We have lots of family and friends here who will help me when I think I can't do it...and my husband has been just amazing--wonderful!

Good Morning to everyone! My simple joy today? That I have enough to meet my needs and share with others. There is nothing like a given loaf of homemade bread or a home-canned jar of preserves to let your family and neighbors know you appreciate them!

Smile-oh yea, you will still get wrinkles, but at least they will be wrinkles worth seeing!

Misty...what a great idea! I made peach jam last summer and was "holding back" for my own needs but I think I have enough to get me through until peach season again and what a great idea! I think I'll wait until my sourdough is ready and make some bread and package it up with some jam and won't my neighbors be surprised! Thanks for the idea!

My simple joy today was having a long lunch with another mother of a son with Asperger's. Her son just turned 21 and my son just turned 18. It was good to be validated and to validate her. I think I have a new friend. : )

Simple joys today included tending to the "Two Old Gentlemen Sheep", taking Miss Kitty to the vet and learning she has a few months yet...that's really great news!...drinking a glass of sparkling wine with Dave to celebrate our blessings.
BTW, I'm 'new again' to MJF's so hope it's all right I jumped in.

Hmmm...I'm 'new again' and think I must have made some kinda mistake as my first post isn't showing. All that to say, jumping in here and hope that's okay.
Some simply joys today included homemade soup with homemade bread, ...gosh, now I've forgotten what I wrote the first time... tending to the 'Two Old Gentlemen Sheep' in the barn, giving some stuff to some folks who can use it and, getting ready to drink some sparkling wine to celebrate Miss Kitty living another few months.

I love your name and welcome back!!!! It sounded like you had a great day and I'm so happy about your Miss Kitty. I have an elderly Miss Patches who I almost lost several months ago but she must have used one of her 9 lives because she has popped back better than ever....even a little frisky! So, keep the faith!

My simple joy came tonight as I was turning onto the street where I live--a fox ran across the road in front of me. I have seen foxes in this town (pop. 33,000) before, but not very often. It's neat to see one so close by--also like to drive along the river road and see the wintering eagles--they're mostly gone now (back north) but they're incredibly awesome to watch when they're here.

Our most beautiful sunrise ever! I've got pics on my blog, although I was a little late to catch the most brilliant colors :)

My simple joy today was hanging out with friends, sewing, eating, (drinking) and laughing.
