Today it was eating the first tomato from my garden, the wonderful weather we've had since Sunday (after an 11 day stretch of 95+ temperatures), and my new issue of MJF Magazine arrived in the mail today :)

my simple joy tonight is cuddling with my Scottie. Typically, Scotties aren't very cuddly or affectionate or friendly. Perhaps he is defective? Darn.
Even our vet can't get over how he hugs, is so friendly, and is such a lover.

my simple joy today is the weather-it is beautiful! A perfect day to have the windows open, do yard work and screw around with the dog outside.

My simple joy today is...
hearing the cattle in the field behind us. The neighbor just brought them over last night and I love hearing them :)

Discovering how many cucumbers have grown large enough to pick overnight...And looking at the flower plants my mom rescued from a retail store and seeing how great they look now that they have water and larger pots to flourish in.

Looking across the room at my now so healthy husband (I've almost lost him 3 times since last Sept.) and KNOW how blessed I am that God healed him.

Today my simple joy was finishing up canning peaches for myself and my sister-in-law. 65 jars in all. Wonder what is ready next? Tammyb Sisterchick #541

being outside, picking strawberried, and actually smelling their sweet fragrance as the sun warmed them... that smell is delicious!

I would have to say my simple joy today was my bread rising.. I know it sounds boring, but the weather was cold, and i was worried about it rising right. I put it on top of the oven and it ended up turning out perfect... its the simple things in life that just make the days go by

molly, your picture is beautiful!
i know what you mean about the weather... i'm already getting fall fever, wishing fall was here!
my simple joy for yesterday (since i havn't been up long today):
having a wonderful neighbor across the street who i can go visit whenever i need a good chat... i love the age gap between us because i have the opportunity to listen to her stories about the 'good old days.'
