My simple joy today is the return of the Hardees' 6 dollar burger.

Want to talk about pinching pennies?

I can make this burger last for 3 meals.

It's SOOOO good!

My simple joy today was my dog walking my fat rear around the block. He is so enthusiastic, and it is contagious!

I had 5 full hours of sleep last night and I feel soooooo much better! I finally broke down and went to the ready care over this horrible case of poison ivy! She gave me a HUGE dose of prednisone and a script for 5 more days like it. Sleep. What a wonderful thing!

The end of a long, arduous work week, a party with friends and family this evening, and a new breaks and rotors. Seriously, safety is a VERY simple joy!!

My simple joy today

Laying in bed waiting for my tea to be ready, watching the sun rise through the syringa bush. The east wind billowing the lace curtains into the room. The light slowly playing out over the pale blue ceiling. The sweet, sweet smell of the early morning breeze, you know that smell, the early summer warmed earth, the mixed smell of flowering bushes and other vegetation, a hint of water from the dew. I breathe so deep that soon I am so relaxed that I make a noodle look like an overacheiver. All the while the robins are calling to each other in their chirpy songs. The only thing that pulls me from the bed is the thought of a lukewarm cup of tea. Life is good.

My simple joy is taking my daughters in the Bike buggy to story hour at the local library this morning. My husband put "goop" in the tires to insure we don't pick up any "goatheads" on the way. I don't know who is more excited me, the girls or my husband ~ who gets some time without us all cluckin around.

My son has had 2 great days at school in a row! Such a normal thing for a lot of kids, but such a big deal for me and especially him! :)

My Simple Joy today was going riding with my Daughter Raven,we saddled up just after dawn and went out on the trail, looking for logs and other obstacles to practice our cross country jumping,it was so still and quiet and early enough that there were no other people or thier annoying barking dogs to pass by,seemed like we had it all to our ourselves, our horses were full of life and jumping well,it was a good ride!

My simple joy today was helping my daughter catch a couple frisky kittens in the bottom of the barn. I went upstairs to the hay loft to help load a friends truck with hay and disovered 4 more soft little bundles of fur. There is nothing like a shirt or apron full of soft warm kittens! :)

My simply joy today was getting online with the Maryjane farmgirls and chatting again. Sisterhood sharing is simply wonderful.
