What's a Farmgirl? i enjoyed rene's article in the magazine .. it was fun to hear that she had made a DLLY! i'm wondering if the dolly on page 21 is one she made .. or is it a Sister Mercy's Foundlin Home dolly? looks like SOFI JUNE (but with a 'new' left eye. i rarely make them 'match' .. and the dress looks 'green' rather than 'blue in the photo .. but to'otherwise, i'm thinking they are one and the same? ohhhhh ren-AAAAAAAA ... can you tell us?

gurlfren .. you have a sweet way of telling a story. makes us hear the sounds and smell the smells and see the sights you tell us about!

thanks for your great article! xo

mus' admit .. that i wouldn't want to do what bill london does by going 'TV free'!!! appreciated what he had to say .. but i adore time to just giggle and laugh at 'silly sitcoms' .. and watching a good 'ole movie while hand-sewing my dollies sometimes! i adore the nature programs and our KET TV station where i learn all about history and artists in my area that i might not otherwise know anything about. (and that darling Dave Shuffett who takes us to all these places is from our very own GREENSBURG, GREEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY .. AND .. i learned this weekend .. is moving BACK!!

i was reading the 'give a kiss, get a kiss article in the TREEHOUSE .. when honey-hunk joined me with his cup of coffee and gave me a long-lingering kiss ... not only with his lucious lips .. but with those beautiful blue eyes too!

and oh my yessss! hank often kisses a lady's hand when meeting her or saying goodbye. i have always loved watching him do this .. and the delight the ladies get in having their hand unexpectedly kissed.

i liked reading about gail siegel and her Sundog Expeditions. Having RAFTED the Salmon River (with long-time friend, Craig Lewis as our 'captain' .. i remember coming upon a BIG wave .. i was in the very front of the raft .. holding on for dear life .. being brave enough to raise a fist and YA-HOOOOOOOOOOOOO at mother nature's awesome power! His daughter Cindy and her beautiful little daughter were in their own raft. I was VERY proud of the two of them! What fun memories that week was! hank and i MUST return someday and do this again! xo

It truly is a special issue, as always. Yes, I truly thought that dollie was one of your 'chilin', is it? Real look alike, I'd say. Is it possible that it is her twin, you know how sometimes they get seperated at birth. I wonder. I spent a few hours cuddled up on the couch with the lastest issue of MJ's and had cups of tea for a real relaxing read.

You know, it is really hard to decide as I loved them all. I read every square inch of that thing! Ha! But I was so impressed with The Flower Farmer. The photography was superb. What a talent that Erin is and from my home town! The bouquets look just like romantic paintings from the Old Masters! Page 48 bottom left and page 50. And what about page 51, unbelievable!

what another FUN day i had. i shoved all those treasures in the car (without price tags .. with good 'intentions' to get all that done when i got to glovers station! well, when i arrived .. our 'town philosopher' was there .. and he and carol and i got to talking and talking and talking and talking .. yep! about GOD! (i guess i can say that here in Frannieville) what a wonderous conversation .. i told him if he ever decided to set up a church under a tree somewhere .. i'd sure attend!

i did put about half a dozen longaberger baskets in my booth .. i know i put probably HALF what they are worth on them .. but i jus' don't collect them anymore .. and if they can go to a good happy home .. that will be great!

honey man called and asked if i wanted to go to dinner and another movie in E-town tonight! i'm ALWAYS up for dinner and a movie! last night we saw a 'thriller' and had chinese. tonight it is mexican .. and i'm not sure which movie we're gonna' see . .it's been on hank's WANNA SEE list since he saw the previews.

sooooooooo .. i'm gonna' get off 'la machine' for now .. have a lovely evening gurlfrenz! xoxo

I just started reading my new MaryJane's Farm Magazine this evening. I always enjoy all of the articles. On page 17 ...Home Care page......I just now noticed that a very dear olde friend of mine (our son's went to elementary school together years ago!) has a little notation. It is the block in the lower right hand coner.....Tired of Your Wall Paint? She and her older son, Croft, are the owners of the American Clay Co. Nice to see her Earth Plasters in Mary Jane's Magazine!! She and I are both born in May of the same year and also both were born in West Hartford, Connec......We've had a few laughs over possibly being twins that were seperated at birth! ...... A little diggression, but it just brought back some fun memories of when our kids were little!

Until Later,
NM Audrey

this one made me giggle!!

Subject: FW: Interesting study findings...

> > Subject: UCLA STUDY (VERY INTERESTING & SHORT)

> > A study worth sharing with friends both male and female: A study
> conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind

> she is in her menstrual cycle.
> > For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and
> masculine features. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she
> tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a
> spear lodged in his chest, while he is on fire.

honey hunk and i went to dinner and a movie tonight .. saw "Burn After Reading" .. a 'farce' .. hank really laughed loud all the way through it. i thought it funny in places .. but not my 'style' of comedy!

i also picked up a book in my collection to look at on the ride to E-town:

photos and stories of Mary Engelbreit's HOME SWEET HOME! only her kitchen is decorated a la M.E. .. (i think i read where it is more her 'style' now though). it is lovely .. i have always admired her and her drawings .. even though they are not PRIM!

you might want to find this one at amazon or e-bay .. if you like Mary's 'style'. xo
