Bonnie .. my beautiful baltimore friend! thank you so much with all my heart for your sweet and uplifting words. (you make my heart smile) ... oh my .. wouldn't it all be gone if it shot into the 'netherworld' ... each time i typed on this 'machine' .. WHAT A GREAT IDEA! i'll just ask that as you true friends read my words .. everyone HIT "IT" with a prayer of strength while still in the air and send it to where it can never touch anyone ever again!

Chris .. i will put a prayer in that golden bowl for YOU too! (now HOW am i going to 'primitize' a 'golden' bowl?? perhaps a 'mustardy-gold' will do! (i'll let heaven hold the golden one!) OH .. and i better make mine a BOX .. with a LID .. cuz' when the wind gets to whipping down there in the woods .. they'd all be blown away! (which .. on the other hand .. might not be a bad idea!)
OHHHHHH! i have a grande idea ... if any of my gurlfrenz have something you would like for me to put into my little 'mustardy-golden' prayer box .. jus' E-MAIL me .. i will write it out .. and pray over it!!!!

Thursday 9/18 ... started the morning off with a cuppa' coffee with honey-hunk on our new TREE HOUSE! it was delightful! than i moved a table and four chairs down there .. (actually, a tad too soon .. cuz' they still have work to do .. but i jus' HAD to see what it is going to look like!) been pricing treasures for glovers' station .. heading down there soon with hank .. we're going to help set up for our big COW DAYS festival ... we'll both be 'workin' the booths (me .. Arts Council .. Hank .. Rotary Club) friday and saturday. i jus' LOVE this town!!
what you gurlz have planned for the next coupla' days? xo

My daughter, Tracy gave me 'The Secret" and I really loved it. It made me look inside and check out how I treat others. It taught me to pray again and give of myself. It has opened up a whole new world for me. I stop each day morning and night and thank God for all the good things in my life. It starts and ends my day with appreciation and love.
Dear Frannie, I so appreciate you and all the other farm girls, you all make me feel loved and cared for by just being me. I love it that no matter who we are we are accepted here with a hug! Most of us don't know each other and may never meet but we are all treated as if we were 'neighbors' talking over the fence! (Thus the name of this feed.) It just gets me! Love to each and everyone of you! Karen

had a fun evening!!! hank and i went to town to help set up for COW DAYS (friday/saturday) .. our annual fund-raising event .. crafts/food/music/friends! then we went to the high school football game .. OH MY GOSH! i've never seen so many green countians gathered in one place! how sweet it was to see ALL AGES together .. it was NOISY .. and we WON the game.
then my man and i took 'candles' to the 'tree house' .. to see how much light they gave off. it was sweet and romantic and we stayed for about an hour!
tomorrow and saturday .. we'll spend in greensburg at this fun event. i'll take pictures! xo

aren't these just wonderful to have in our County! i'm going to get 4 'quarter-sized' ones ... i'm going to have four different patterns painted .. one for each season so i can change them from time to time .. i'm thinking of hanging them somewhere off the tree-house ... OR ... they might end up on the barn or schoolhouse. not sure just yet!
the gurlz in town (especially that sweet finola) have been working long and hard painting these wonderful 'quilts'!
NOW GURLFRENZ .. remember .. visit Ada Mae's blogsite .. her aprons are absolutely WONDERFUL! ... and i loved visiting with little HALLEY and your grandkids.

gosh .. i just realized it's only 7 a.m. here in my part of kentucky .. and i've already made (including this one) EIGHT postings here .. be sure to scroll up and read-em all!
gonna' go to the 'tree house with my coffee and 'meditate' on this wunnerful life right now .. (and send some prayers heavenward) .. been receiving names for my 'golden prayer box' ... remember .. if you have someone for my 'list' .. jus' E-MAIL me .. and i will remember them every day!
THEN .. i'm gonna' gather some 'sunflower heads' to take to town with me .. sooo .. while i sit at our booth .. i can 'de-seed' them and package them up as gifties! (wish i had some dollyl bodies sewn up .. i'd take those along too!)

car is all loaded with PRICED stuff .. ha! hank just reminded me that there are no CARS allowed anywhere near glovers's station .. all BOOTHS! guess i won't be lugging all that stuff in there today!
but .. i did take a few photos of the 'food' booths that were setting up last night ... oh YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!
friend rita sold this little bench before she even got it into her booth! i took my mj book with me to read during the football game!
there were ZILLIONS of people there .. the 'noise' level was unbelieveable! these country folk love their sports and beauty pageants (they crowned their homecoming queen too at the football game!)

WELL ... NOW! what a fun day honey-hunk and i had in town today! i showed up early .. put a buncha' more treasures in my booth at the antiques mall. then visited with friends all over town before meeting up with sweet friend, larraine (what an angel-pie she is!) .. we had lunch together .. then i headed back to the olde courthouse to 'sit' in our arts council booth with a few other gurlfrenz. we laughed and giggled and told stories .. i met more friends i had not met before! (INCLUDING .. the FIRST jewish woman in the memory of those still living to ever live in Green County. i ran to get hank to meet her .. she had some great stories to tell about growing up in a very southern 'baptist' town! (actually, they lived not far from our home. she had a FASCINATING woman friend with her .. they grew up here together and went to school all those years right through high school! they return each year this time to meet up with olde friends.
honey man and i went to dinner and a movie .. he went to see an 'action' film .. i wanted to see "WOMEN" .. sooo ... we went solo .. then met up afterwards.
he has a RACE tomorrow at 8 a.m. in town .. then breakfast together .. then .. i've volunteered to 'booth sit' again tomorrow! i think we'll stay in town t'il evening to hear 'music'. we have an invite to join luna and her honey-man in bardstown to hear the "kentucky headhunters" .. but i think we're opting to jus' stay in town.
couldn't believe how MANY people showed up on a friday .. and saturday will be packed! this is a HUGE money-maker for our Rotary Club .. who support many children's charities.
hope you kids have a great weekend too. (i got so busy .. i forgot to take pics today .. but i'll remember to do it tomorrow.

Frannie....I am anxious to see "Women"....what did you think of it? Worth going to? cause Dave and I are planning to go tomorrow evening (I think he might rather see an action movie! so maybe we'll do the solo and meet after too!). Great to hear that "Cow Days" is doing well! It's always good to know that Fund Raisers are successful!
Tomorrow in the a.m. we are getting some stuff out of our storage unit and heading to the Military Base Thrift store to bring some stuff to sell. We have access to using the Base because Dave was in the Military soooo that's where I put things to sell now. Part of our "Downsizing"!! The Goal is to get rid of Everything in the Storage Unit!! Ha! It Won't happen overnight!

Frannie, I'm pretty new here but reading your postings were one of the things that led me to join Mary Jane's and become a sister. You give such joy to all here and I just want you to know that so many people from all walks of life are praying for your speedy recovery after surgery. I know one of my girlfriends had this surgery. She has recovered so quickly and was home the same day she had surgery! I hope you're able to do that as well. Her voice was a bit raspy when she called me that day but you could barely see her tiny little scar where they made the incision and she's done so well since. Everyone here is praying for you and we all know you're going to be just fine. You have many more orphans to find homes for you know...smile. God's Blessings to you.

cheryl .. you have absolutely made my day!!!! it is so wonderful to know that there are so many dear friends, new and olde, who care for you. and life is made extra grande when we learn that something we might have said or done has touched another heart and soul on this earth. i believe we all become a little part of each other when we connect.
i am so very heartened when i hear 'success' stories. all my friends are huggin' on me and smiling and telling me that i am going to be 'jus' fine! i hear a prayer in those words every time they are said. next time you talk to that friend of yours .. tell her that i've sent a prayer of thankfulness heavenward for her ... and know that i so much appreciate YOUR continued prayers for me.

Frannie, Didn't get to Cow Days until 3 PM. I headed straight for the Old Courthouse. Mimi said you had already left. Are you coming back today? I'll be there around 10--so I'll run up and see if you're there.
There was a good crowd--or at least at our booth. I didn't get to walk around because of working--The Green County Cattlemen's Assoc.!!! Great steak sandwiches (I only ate 2).

ada mae .. i left the fun frenzy of cow days for a little while today and visited cathy and got two more of your WONDERFUL aprons, corn stalks, and most of all another one of her incredible 'momma' hugs. i swear .. i FELT the love emanate from her all through me! .. i am so sorry we did not connect. i had left the courthouse .. but was roamin' all over meetin' and greetin' friends. we shall meet soon dear friend.
oh karen .. my heart is breaking for WES .. i can assure you .. i will pray and pray and pray for his peace. Please let him know that his love has reached far and wide and just 'hold him' for a little while for me.
my heart is broken tonight.
i will write more of the fun festival tomorrow .. i simply cannot write more now ..
