How many jobs have you had up until now. What were the jobs.
My first job was delivering newspapers, worked at TG&Y, worked at a lawyers office, was a secretary/bookkeeper at City Hall, opened a Maternity & Children's Shop, worked at a printing shop, taught music at school, taught music in college.
Let's hear what jobs y'all have had and have now.

Hmm, Marly, good topic

Lesse...worked at my father's office at age 13-18
Illustrator, Radio DJ, Vet tech, Newspaper writer, artistic director of a theater and dance troupe, online magazine writer (hmm, that doesn't really pay though, so I doubt it counts!), and pet-sitter.

Oh gosh...lets see....babysitting, city hall printing, car hop at A&W, motel maid, grocery store clerk, with my ex ran a fishing resort in MN, daycare provider several times for years at a time, worked at kitchen shop as clerk, taught dollmaking classes at fabric shop, waitress many times, worked as bath and brush person at dog grooming shops twice, elderly care, and now subsitute teacher at elementary school. I had a business selling cloth dolls to shops and making big cloth mannekins for a couple childrens stores years ago too. I have been a waitress and a daycare provider more than any other jobs..because they fit my schedule with my kids more. I don't know if foster mom counts as a job (it IS a job..trust me!) but I have done that alot too. For now I am very content doing the subbing at the school, but could see myself doing daycare in my home again someday.
edtited to add:...forgot housecleaning..I did it full time for 2 years, and part time as a second job many times!

Ok, first I started babysitting when I was young. I am the oldest of 4 kids and I was always pot in charge of them. When I began middle shool I started caring for other kids as well. In high school on random days I went t work with my dad and he dropped me off at one of his construction job sites (home building) and I would be the clean-up crew before the actual clean up crew came. It was hard work and I was always sore for days afterward but I never let him pay me. I just wanted to help him out. My first real pay-check job was at Be Bath and Beyond. I worked in both Everett and Seattle. I worked there for about two years doing various things like being a sales associate, and working freight. Now I work at a psychological research study affiliated with the University of Washington's Psychology Department as a research assistant. It is by far the best and most fun job I have ever had!

This is going to be interesting.

Babysitter of twins when I was 14
Taught ceramic lessons and poured ceramic molds at age 15
Worked as a medical billing agent at the age of 17
Drafted firealarm placements and electrical wiring at age 18
Managed the firealarm office for a skirt chasing pig.
While at college I was a car repo person and bill collector
Worked also as a paralegal at a law office while I finished my degree.
Then became of skiptracer for international banks and large corps
Worked partime with the youth gang task force and also with a batteried shelter for women with children.
When I married I took over the legal side of my husbands business. After he passed away 12 years ago I start my farm and fiber business. I did three years ago manage an organic greenhouse and antique store while also having two retail stores in town. Not sure what the future holds but it is always an adventure.

The day I turned 15 I went for my social security card and started at the local water park in Odessa, TX. worked for 2 seasons.
Worked half day in high school through the FFA at a vets clinic.
In the cafeteria in college.
At a pet store.
In a bookstore. -loved it there, but never brought home much money. Lots of books though!
Doing laudrey for a local wealthy woman. This was an interesting job!
Paraprofessional.
I was a watress for a while. Props to those of you who can do that job. I hated it!
Pizza wench. That is to say I answered the phone.
Both the local theme parks in the area where I now live.
At a before and after school program.
In a holistic chiropractic office.
Currently I work seasonally for the IRS. Its not a glamourous job, but it pays the bills.

I hope to eventually make a living off of art in some way. I have so many ideas running around in my head! I want to share them with others.
