Thank you, thank you sistahs!!! Where else can one discuss these embarrasing problems and get these great tips back on how to deal with them! I love you all! So now after I eat chili and the offending foods I will look like this> instead of this> !!!!

Lucindas idea reminded me of another, the old timers use to add a teaspoon of baking soda to spicy dishes like chili and speghetti, to nip the effect before it reached the stomach. Food for thought! LOL

I've heard that too Sue..a pinch of baking soda in bean and lentil dishes will remove its gaseous properties. |
