Autumn, You make me laugh So glad you joined the sisterhood.
Mima, I'm number 22....I'd gladly take that age again but only with the knowledge and wisdom I have right now...LOL

Hello fellow Farmgirl Sisters!
Here's the update...I am working with the local shirt printing shop here in town. Katy and I got the first 60 squares cut and ironed yesterday and the printing shop said they'll have them printed by Tuesday the 4th. Carol and I are working on the certificates and details that mail with them...My goal is the get the first 60 in the mail by Wednesday the 5th. Katy is cutting and ironing the next batch of squares as we speak to get those in the mail just a few days following the 5th.
Of course, this will be if all goes as planned and all farmgirls know the odds of that..But I am having a lot of fun with this project...feeling so honored to share a title with you all and be a part of it.

I got my membership certificate and Henrietta patch today. The certificates are really nice and I am looking forward to getting my patch put on my jacket soon!

Sister # 34 here! Faith Marie I was wondering if there is a badge for little Farmerettes? My granddaughter is only 9 yrs old. She keeps 24 chickens, 3 goats, a rabbit and a pony. She has a little garden. And she posts on my name sometimes if she has a question. hehe I am just wondering.
I love MaryJane and all you farmgirls!

Greetings Farmgirl Sisters! I joined the Farmgirl Connection a couple of months ago having "discovered" Mary Jane and the farm in Country Living magazine in a story on B&Bs. When I hit the web site, my heart started beating faster! I've never lived on a farm, but this was coming home. I've been learning how to read the forums and this is my very first posting. It made my heart sing to sign up for the Sisterhood last night.
I'm giving four of my best girlfriends Mary Jane's books, magazines, and calendars for Christmas. I haven't told any of them about the site because I don't want to spoil the surprise!
I'm a small town girl now, but have been house hunting in rural areas of NC, TN, and VA the past three years. I work from home (writing training materials) companioned by my rescued Sheltie, Bonny Marie. For joy, I sew a bit (straight lines) , create custom shadow boxes and other types of artwork (mostly paper-based), write, read, and cook. I've never milked a cow and don't even possess a green thumb, but I'm a farmgirl in my heart.
I've been humbled and delighted by all the posts I've read here and member blogs I've visited. I'm going to our local consignment shop this weekend to look for a denim jacket!
Filled with gratitude, Jana
All is Well. |

Faith-
We are hatching plans all the time, and some reward for the littler farmerettes will someday be in the works. Right now we are just trying to get everything worked out for the Farmgirl Sisterhood, but we will make sure to have a big update when we have something for the farmerette chapters. Right now there are only two very small farmerette chapters, so having more farmerette chapters would help too :D

Received my wonderful packet yesterday with my badge. Can't wait to sew it to my jacket. This is my first post to the chat room. Have enjoyed reading the mail.
