You 1st message said, to ship 2 weeks before Christmas. Thats the 11th. I was going to ship on the 12th.

Ok through this thread there have been updates,and in those updates especially on page 5, It was decided to go ahead and make and ship the cookies now. And this week if any wanted an exact date to go ahead and all can pick a day this week to ship.But it doesn't matter on the exact date,since none of us can time travel our cookies.Just make sure its this week.Sorry about any confusion.I did state before about shipping later,but nobody else wanted to be in this swap,and it wasn't moving much,so I moved it up.I'm sorry if anyone got left behind in that.
Dawn,its ok you were right to ship now,as stated on the 16th I said it was ok to start making and ship the cookies.I made my fudge today too,and all the shipping boxes came.

I am sorry I am going to have to drop out. I have a tight schedule I cannot ship or even bake now. I am not trying to cause trouble, I truely don't have the time. Sorry I can not change in mid-stream and I needed the cookies at christmas time.

Farah, I am sorry but I cant get the cookies out before the we originally decided on. I had a breast bx on Monday and have had a lot on my mind. I will also have to drop out I just cant meet the new date.

Second you can totally buy cookies,I was going to do that for my backup plan if I had an accident with mine.Since I moved the date up, i'm the one in the wrong.So sorry to add to your stress. |

Hi Farah, Thank you so much. I will get them in the mail on Friday. I just found out the tumor was benign!!! Since my Mom had breast cancer I was a bit worried. Thank you for your concern. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Cheryl,I'm so glad the tumor was benign.My mom suffered with BC,she made through ok but its so scary.
Everyone,I hope you all have a happy holiday.If you need a few extra days to send the cookies due to my moving the date up no problem,and remember you can buy the cookies and send if you want.Thanks for understanding.

Here is my cookie swap recipe.

TUXEDO BROWNIE HUGS COOKIES
About 60 HERSHEYS HUGS Chocolates
1 package (1 lb. 6.5 oz.) Orignal Supreme Brownie mix with Syrup Pouch
1/4 cup HERSHEYS Cocoa
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
Remove wrapper from Hugs. Preheat oven to 350. Grease well and flour cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
Stir brownie mix, pouch of Hershey’s Syrup, cocoa, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Drop by scant teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 8 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute. Press hug into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. About 5 dozen cookies.

I will try to bake and get the cookies out. I wasn't aware of the change in date either. I must admit I got a bit lost in the updates- probably my own fault. Maybe tomorrow I can get them all made, if not I will make Saturday a baking day.

I am going to drop out...I have to go to Atlanta this week to be with my mother that broke her neck...I thought I could have made them while I was there but having to send them this week isnt going to work...I am so sorry...

Okay I sadly must back out as well. Thinking it was sometime in December that I needed to mail them worked fine however, at the moment I just can't spare the money to mail anything as my husband had been off work for nearly a month and has just started back. I am so sorry. I feel like bum

Farah, I'm glad you got the cookies so fast. They went out on Tuesday. I had fun baking & packaging the bunch up for the swap. Eat as many as you like since we've had a few people drop out! It was great to get them out before the holiday season hit. Thanks for all of your hard work.

I sent minne out on Friday the 23, so hopefully you'll get them today. I had to kinda cram 'em in to make sure they all fit, but maybe that way they won't move too much. I sent 10 doz. so if you have extras think of it as a bonus for all your hard work. Enjoy them with a big mug of hot cocoa after a long day at work.
I forgot to include my money order in the box, so it is in the regular mail.
I will post my recipe later when my son is not asleep on my arm. :)

Hi,I got your cookies today!The mail is so fast lately.I'm sure my Samantha will love your cookies,I will have to try one today too.They look so pretty!I'm 1/4 Italian,so I grew up with biscotti.Its a real treat!
