Sheryl-ly, Your quilt is beautiful!!!
I was busy yesterday too.. Check out my blog. All I need now is to finish the back and try to arrange for my quilter to find time to quilt it for me. Let me know what you think.

Just wanted to clear something up on our quilt block swap. I received mine today and ladies they are gorgeous, but I noticed on the ones sunshine (Wendy) made they had a sticker that said levisgrammy (me). My email address has the word sunshine in it and that may have been a bit confusing. I made the ones that are blue and white. They have a white diamond shape in the middle. I didn't want to have anyone thinking that I made the others because I know there was a lot of time and work that went into them by Wendy. Hers are beautiful and I just wanted you all to know she made them. Thanks to all of you who did this. I am looking forward to putting these together and having my farmgirl friends around me everytime I use it! hugs, Denise

Mine are the embroider tree and the square in square in square blocks. I labeled the embroidered tree but not the other one. Funny they had a sticker label on them as I pinned all mine into sets and wrote the name of the person I wanted the set to go to on the label and I had my name written on the embroidered block i did so I figured every one would know oh well. Once again levisgrammy and I are confused this has happened a lot in the last three weeks.
Just so every one knows I purposely did not decorate the tree. I figured a nice pine tree was winterish but if someone wants to decorate theirs feel free to I would love to see what every one does to the tree.

Ok Sunshine maybe it was that the piece of paper with my name on was just the set marked for me and not that it was the person who did it. There were stickers on some of them and I figured that was who made the blocks. sorry for causing confusion here. The two from you were pinned together.

Ok so you probably just saw my note to khartquilt that I pinned to them all. If it was a funny off colored paper with a name in poor handwriting on it that would be me writing names at 3 in the morning trying to make sure I didn't forget any one.

Well girls, I just layed them all out and I must say they are absolutely gorgeous, each and every one of them. I am going to have to make up some of my own, as I did not save any for me, and then get this together! Hand stitched, embrodered, yoyo'd, appliqued, pieced and pieced and pieced, everyones are just lovely!!!! |

Kathy!! It looks gorgeous! I am definitely going to put mine together this weekend too! Thank you all so much for such lovely blocks.
I put one of my reproduction quilts on my blog today. And a pair of curtains I made from a bedspread. The repro quilt is the first one I ever made using that fabric.

I am glad most of you have received your blocks! The rest should come shortly. I guess it just depends on your location. I know that the more west you are the longer it will take. I did make sure that they all went priority mail. I hope I did the sorting correctly. If anyone feels that they are missing a block let me know and I will send you one of mine.
I am working on the backing to the quilt I posted on my blog. I am piecing five different blue fabrics together so the quilt is somewhat reversible. I will post a photo as soon as I am done.
How do I go about posting on this thread? What do I need to do? Open a special account?
I have not gotten in touch with my quilter yet. She must be away.
Umm..I emailed Kathy (ktknits) she has not gotten back to me yet. Does anyone have her home address? I would like to send off her blocks.

okay kathy to post pics on this thread you need to go to photobucket and open an account there. It is not hard, fill in the blanks. Then you go to your "photoalbums" on photobucket, click on "browse", it will bring up your picture files from your computer, select the pic you want by clicking on it. It will put it on photobucket and you will need to click on "upload", then it will show you your pic on photobucket. in the lower righthand corner there will be several code areas, copy the img code and paste it into your reply here on the farm. Also, you may want to edit the size of your photo on photbucket by clickin gon the "edit" button. It will give you sizes to choose from. Get it? It will make sense once you are at photobucket. Make sure when you copy the img code you get the beginning and ens bracket, that is where a lot of people make the mistake. |

Thanks Jessica. I think some one told me this before. I will open an account and give it a try. Oh and that idea I sent you, maybe you-me-we could post it in two weeks. I want to make up some super clear directions and try them out myself. I will send them to you off line this weekend and you see if they are understandable.
I have Ktknits address.Thank you. I am sending her blocks out tomorrow. Its about 2:15 here and very cold out. I will do the post office tomorrow at lunch.
