Hello ladies!
I had a fabulous find at the Sew Expo... someone mentioned Olfa's guide arm that attaches to the handle of your rotary cutter to accurately and easily cut out a pattern with the seam allowance you want (negating the multistep tracing process).
Perhaps others on here already have this tool, but for those of us who don't, take a look! You place the black compass point on the stitch line of the pattern and extend the blade away from the pattern the amount of seam allowance you want (ie 1/4 for a collar).
