Here is the first kids quilt I just finished. And a picture of another one I am working on.

Finished quilt with picture of her paper quilt I worked from -

A boys quilt I am working on now

Some of the kids get very creative with lots of pieces in a block. One of the quilters had a quilt to do with 45 pieces in one block. I choose the easier ones. Lol!

Marie, I love the quilt block and may use it for one of our friendship quilt blocks. The thread cutter looks cute - if you send it to me I'll have to figure out how it's used!
Linda, the quilt guild project is so helpful to those little ones learning fractions. They can look back at the blocks they designed and remember the lesson.

It was a creatively productive day. I attended a Skills Day. I chose classes to make a butterfly with glued buttons and in the afternoon I learned Swedish weaving.
When I got home I finished the binding on my latest quilt.

Here is a picture of the four 1st grader quilt tops I have finished. I am going to a work session tomorrow morning to work on some more of these. We have about 24 more to get done in a couple weeks.

Linda I just love this, I’m sure the kids love that y’all cared enough to sew their ideas into an actual quilt!

The colors used for each quilt are the colors the kids chose. And they are bright.

I have been having such a good time making organizers for my various crafts!
This is a roll up organizer to keep all the floss for a cross stitch project together and easy to see, and I am proud to say I designed it from scratch:

I also made organizers for my Crochet supplies:

My knitting bags:

A cute needle book using scrap fabrics:

I wound up having surgery and it took away my ambition for a bit but next up is a big bag to organize all my
Embroidery/cross stitch and hand sewing supplies :)

Before I got in the organizer kick, I decided to try and use some of my embroidered and cross stitch pieces to make into items I will use versus having them in a bag in the craft room, here are a few of the creations I can up with:

A book pouch:

A booklet to organize my embroidery and cross stitch patterns and kits:

And a little project bag to keep supplies together:

You have been busy Sarah. I hope you are doing better after your surgery. All the bags and pouches you made are beautiful and useful. Continued healing and feeling better. Sending prayers.

I also have needlework projects that are just lying in a drawer. Now I've got some ideas on how to use them!
Here are the 2 April fabric friendship quilt blocks I just finished. Minimal swearing this time!
