I'm saving all the patterns per week. Not deciding until I see the end. LOL! I was thinking of doing in Christmas colors.

Nothing has changed for my daughter as of yet. That is the latest on my daughter, my son in law is doing his best. Too.
I guess I will be in here through part of January,

Today or maybe tomorrow we will be working on taking the tree down. It's going to seem strange to have the space open again.
I have been online looking for a better craft storage setup. I still have 3 boxes to empty. How do you all set up your area for crafts and storage of them?

My number 1 problem is that I have so many interests. Lol. I have my quilting templates and things like that hanging on pegboard in the laundry room. There is a small piece of countertop next to a kitchen cabinet in there. The countertop is more like a desk and I have pegboard above it. The cabinet has drawers on one side and has one shelf behind double doors. I use the top of that cabinet for folding clothes. I plan to store and do my papercrafting in there. I basically have a corner of the basement for the rest of my things but I'd like it to look nice as we also entertain in there. Any suggestions are most welcome. I have one tall skinny cabinet now. I have been thinking of using a couple of cubby storage things with the fabric cubes.

Our tree is down and everything is up in the attic until next year - that is, if we are home for Christmas next year. We have talked about taking a Christmas cruise, or traveling to another interesting place for Christmas.

I have also put up my unfinished Christmas items - ready to get out to work on much later next yeaar. I have bindings to sew on 3 Christmas quilts, 3 Christmas table runners to back and quilt, and several other items. LOL! Maybe Christmas in July?

Sending prayers for your daughter Darlene. Linda my Christmas is down and today I sorted through all the Christmas I didn't put up. I am really trying to minimize my holiday decor. I just don't have the energy anymore. I am going with less is more. Happy New Year, Maryellen

I did the same, MaryEllen. I re-sorted everything and have one tub of Christmas decorations that I will donate or try to sell next year before Christmas. I also sorted things so Ed doesn't have to bring down everything from the attic. I combined several smaller boxes into larger totes to minimize the number of tubs.

Happy New Year everyone.

I did the same Mary Ellen and Linda. I did some before we moved and this year we just didn't have as much room so when I take the tree down today I am going to go through things and organize and continue to see what we didn't use. I think right now we have it to 3 tubs so hoping to get it to two. My nativities takes up one small tub by themselves but I won't be getting rid of those. One of them I've have since our first christmas which was 39 years ago. It has weathered many moves and is still in pretty good shape. Anyway, that's the plan for today. I still have our original stocking but we have used others over the years and sometimes haven't used them at all.
I plan to work on some quilts for Christmas gifts this year.

I am unintentionally Decluttering and it feels so good. Haven't made it to the craft room yet. Today my daughter and son in law came over and I gave them lots of kitchen stuff I just don't need. I am not entertaining in the same style as before lots of plates and dishes. I am looking forward to having so much less. I think I could accomplish so much more with so much less. Linda we don't even put anything in the attic anymore. I have trimmed down the Holiday Decor to one tote per holiday. That is really good for me because I love to decorate. Maryellen
