I loved it too! It is really clever and there are so many ways you could do it with different colors. Shannon, I hope you will find some free time again to craft because you are very talented. Plus crafting is always good for my well-being. it is fun to create and embellish as you go along. No matter what you like to do as crafts, I think they all make life more fun and special.

<3 Thank you so much Winnie! I haven't done much crafting in quite awhile! I am hoping this weekend I can get some in! If nothing else, I need to spend some time crafting for Christmas!!!

I need to get back to doing crafts. I need to get organized first. That holds me up a lot. It always seems that I have to get something organized before I can do things. Can't help it, that's just the way my brain is wired.

I am the same way, Denise. I have to straighten my sewing room before I can work in there. I can think better if everything is tidy.

I've been doing a lot of knitting .... mainly socks. I love knitting socks, they are mindless for me ... for those times I don't want to think about anything.

I did finish Posey Party, a pattern from Primitive Gatherings. I just love working with hand dyed wool, the colours are gorgeous.

Working on another piece that should be completed soon.

Catch you all later!

Carole that is beautiful! I was looking at the patterns you sent me yesterday when I was supposed straightening and organizing. That happens to me a lot. I can't keep my focus and start looking at all my patterns and projects. LOL!
Not conducive to getting things done in a timely manner.

Thanks Denise. It's one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It's sitting on the back of my rocking chair waiting for the holidays to be done so it can be the main focus on my table in the breakfast nook. lol

I did finish my Lego wreath ... and there it sits while Posey patiently waits! lol

I "should" refinish that table. I found it on the side of the road by my mum's place. It came with two chairs. The sides pull up making it round. It was perfect for me. I just haven't decided if I want to paint it .... if so what colour. Or if I want to refinish it. It's solid maple.

Cheers!

Carole I agree that the knitting is much less space consuming than sewing but I just can’t master socks! I have taken two sock classes and did complete each pair but I just can’t get it on my own. You must be so accomplished to call them mindless! I wish I could get the hang of it. My problem is I can’t fix a mistake once I make it. Ugh! Your projects are beautiful. Maryellen

Maryellen that is exactly my problem with knitting. I can never figure out how to fx a mistake when I make it.

Carole your Lego wreath! I love it!

That mask is adorable, Darlene! What a clever idea.

Today, I am doing a pile of laundry and straightening up a bit. We are going to have a very warm week ahead with multiple days in the low 80s until next Sunday. I might be tempted to get a head start on some Spring cleaning with the windows open. I am thinking of getting it done before the dreaded Pine Pollen season hits. With all this early warm weather, I have a feeling that the pine pollen will start very early.

Darlene that mask is so cute. When life gives you lemons make lemonade! Who would have thought the we would still be wearing masks. I made eight of them for the Thanksgiving gathering at my son's house but unfortunately I came down with the stomach flu and didn't go.

Carole - Do you sell knitted socks? I love hand knitted socks, but socks is one thing I don't knit. Many of the pairs of my hand knitted socks are getting holes and I'm going to have to repair or get rid of them. I've had them for at least 10 years.

I am going to try and make one of the Crocheted Hexagon sweaters; has anyone heard of that? It is made from 2 crocheted hexagons and is supposed to be super easy. Well, this will be after I finish up some smaller projects to sell in the shop here in Terrell.

Also, I saw a new crochet stitch that looks like it is knitted. I want to try it to see how easy it is.

Linda, what do you think of the new Bonnie Hunter mystery? I have fabric pulled for part one, just haven’t started cutting yet.

Linda introduced me to Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt projects. I'm not sure how many she does, I know at least 1 a year. Mine from last year is still sitting here in pieces waiting to be finished! I love the colors that she chose for this one and it's a great way to use up a LOT of scraps and/or fabric in your stash.
