Carole,
Legos are awesome and that is a fantastic One! It's something how just about anything can be made from Legos these days.

Winnie, the first stage of the rocked took the longest. I think there were 7 bags of Lego pieced just for the first stage.

Darlene, I love trains too. I did by the Hogwarts Express for Pumpkin ... Should have kept it! lol But I am keeping an eye on what Lego comes up with next regarding trains. They only have one available and it's not something that grabs me. If you have amazon prime they have a series that I found enjoyable Have train will travel. I learned so much about steam locomotive. I know what to look for should I be on the market for one! lol

Better get ready for work. Catch you all later.

We have a train in our backyard. My son went to an auction years ago and bought an amusement park size train and track. Now that he's moved I'm not sure what we will ever do with it. He's going to have to figure something out when we move.

I am going through my cookbook collection. As much as I love collecting them, I really want to simplify and keep my favorites. I have been going through them in the evenings, marking recipes that look good. If there aren't too many in the book, I am just photocopying them and filing them to try later. If the book has a LOT of good ones....or is just sentimental to me, I am keeping it. I think I will donate the books I am not keeping to our library. They have great book sales a couple times a year.

Debbie, I have thought of doing the same. I have so many and I rarely use them anymore. I have a lot of Gooseberry Patch I need to go through too. I am hooked on those so I have to look through and see what recipes I actually use of them.

Debbie, I have done the very same thing. Now that it is only the two of us and we are watching what we eat for health reasons, all those cookbooks I used to use were just sitting there. I got rid of many of mine to Friends of the Library when they could take donations. Denise, I too have some Gooseberry Patch books but I love to just look at them and read the little ideas and pictures, especially the fall ones!

I love cookbooks and have several shelves full of them. I have slowly been going through them for donation. Reading old recipes is interesting; ideas about healthy eating have changed a lot in the past 50 years or so.

Winnie, that's why I don't want to get rid of the GBP cookbooks. Plus we have a few favorite recipes.

It seems that the books that have the most marked recipes to try later are my GBP books. I am getting them dwindled down. It's been a help in getting some new ideas about "what to fix for dinner". Plus, like Winnie said, we aren't eating like we used to when we were younger, so I'm not using several of them. I'm also thinking anymore that if I have a bread recipe that I really love, for example, do I need several recipes that are similar?? Just keep the one...and maybe have a couple copies of it in case I misplace it sometime...haha!
