The good thing about Richard...he does not have to deal with other kids remarks, teasing, harassing like kids in public school

Linda,
Your treatments sound like what my dad had done. It was 3 or 4 days a week. I think 16 weeks. His was on his cheek and they couldn't remove it because they didn't want to go too deep into the cheek.
He did very well. I'll be praying they get it all scheduled around things you having going on. It is important to do it consecutively with the treatments.

That does sound exactly like mine. The doctor didn't want to go deeper into my nose.

Ladies, I just found the most beautiful inspiration for our autumn porches. They went all out but much I g from their baskets I'm guessing they decorate each year. Go to www.serendipity refined.com.(of course don't leave the space...I just did that so it would be easier to read.)
Country Living also has sooo many pretty porch ideas. The

Her porch is beautiful but I like the Spring minimalist wreath. I think I can turn that into a Fall minimalist wreath to hang on the door. I know I have enough embroidery hoops to make a few.

I usually use ropes for the base of my wreaths. They used to be in good supply when my son was younger and roping several nights each week. I guess I'm a farm girl, because I love the look.

My mother used to make beautiful wreaths using grape vines.

I have several of those embroidery hoops, too. Found them for really cheap at an estate sale. They would make nice wreaths.

That's a beautiful wreath. I have all of my fall wreaths up already. I only have one Christmas one now so maybe I will use this idea for that.

Yesterday I received our flight information for the Germany trip in December. We are flying home Dec. 30th, so we will be home before New Years Day. My German "daughter" (exchange student) works for the train company and will be helping with the high speed train reservations from Prague to Frankfurt. She says there is a bus/train to Frankfurt every 2 hours, so that will be nice. Ed and I will have our luggage with us, so I am trying to pack well to use the smallest bags possible for 2 weeks in Germany. Since it will be cold, there is a bit more to pack than for Caribbean and other summer trips. LOL!

Linda you must be so excited just thinking about your upcoming trip to Germany.

I saved Mr. Toad from Annie this morning. He lives around the east side of the deck and Yellow Rose Cottage. Hope he learns to stay out of Annie's way. I've only seen him several times and it's always when Annie has found him first.

Linda, several years ago my friend was going to Norway. She laid her open bag on the day bed in her sewing room and began putting things in it. About the third morning she discovered that someone was sad about her trip. The cocker spaniel was lying in her open bag!

Linda,
You sure are on the go! So wonderful for you to be able to travel!

I went to the chiropractor this morning. I always try to go before we head out on a long ride. I found out they are having a party for my aunt. She is 99 today. We are making it a surprise that we will be there.

My daughter came over this morning and brought a little something to celebrate the start of fall. The red one says blessings, the yellow says blessed and the green says grateful.

I took eggs to my neighbor. She had offered me some okra...I of course, said yes.
I went to Wal-Mart first to the garden center. Boy what a great day to go! I got four tubs with the latching handles for $5 each. Then I got three more towels in a soft grey. Two smaller trash cans for $3 each and a short hose.,,then I went home.I
Back to work.

I can't believe we are already half way through September. Five more days until the calendar says it is officially fall. I look forward to it but I know lots of work comes along with it. Getting our wood in for the winter and cleaning out the chicken coop, etc. Winterizing some things in the house. We do some of our trees but mostly we get it from someone else. Trying to find free time to go and get it tends to be a problem. But, we use propane until we can keep the stove going continuously for the furnace. I don't look forward to that.

September is a busy month around here. Our anniversary today and DH's birthday tomorrow. Two dinners out in a row -- I love it! He takes me out to dinner tonight and I take him out to dinner tomorrow. Maybe we can even squeeze in Downton Abbey at the theater too. We haven't been to a real sit down movie since Harry Potter.
