Linda I got your wonderful package today, really nice things I love the lanyard pincushion how pretty!
I love the bug cloth, it is great, the button hook is cute, it will be cute on the wall, when I first read that ! I was thinking of a different button hook. Thanks for the chocolate it will be great in my coffee,
The cross stitch Angel baby is so cute it will be fun to stitch. And thank you for the tea towel.
There was one other thing you mentioned on the note but I didn’t find it was a thimble. Just wanted to let you know about that.
I love everything and thanks again for being my Mothers Day swap partner!

Thank you Denisefor hostingthis swap, it was fun!
Hugs

I'm glad you like everything, Darlene. Yes, I found the thimble here today. I will send it separately, since I guess somehow it jumped out of the pile when I put everything in the box.

That is so sweet! Does the quilt have only one cottage as the focal point? Or does it have several?

Connie, I hope you enjoy those pins. I now find that my quilting pins are more difficult to pick up, so I find myself reaching for the pins with a larger target to grab. Enjoy your stuff. The feed bag is two alfalfa bags. I thought you might put garden tools in it or ??? My son has horse brushes and combs, etc. in his. Today I bought him a hose reel, and I installed it, and wound the 100' long cord for the blower on it. Thank goodness it is off the cement! We shall see if he notices!

Connie - That's another great box of stuff, Connie. Marilyn got me started on the reusable "paper" towels, and I love them. And more fancy tapes for your cards and crafts with Lily June! Such neat, useable things.

Marilyn - I love the camper tea cozy. I've been wanting to make some of them - now you have me eager to do it.

Yes, they do. They are so roly poly. LOL! I have over 200 thimbles - almost 100 from a garage sale (got them all for $15 with a small display rack) and another almost 100 that were Ed's sister's that I received after she passed away. I need to buy a couple large display cases (I've seen them for about $75 each or less on eBay).

So glad you liked your box! I hope the lanyard pincushion is useful. I like the one I have of my mother's.

Ok. From the top: a beautiful card, that stands up! Lots of flowers! I love it, thank you.
Next...the Duet candy. Connie, I opened the tin, put two in my mouth and immediately I was seven years old again...sweet memory! Yum!
Then there was one, not two packages of fudge from Cracker Barrel.( I took a big pain pill while ago, and ....) Also some cracker jacks, another childhood flashback. When the circus came to Snyder, it set up out by our school. It was a new school, but dust was everywhere. Our teachers would walk us out to the circus, before school was over, we would buy a box of cracker jacks, hoping for a play like diamond ring in the bottom, munch, munch as we dreamed of one day being a girl on the flying trapeze!
Next is a jar of seasoning for guacamole! That is exciting. I love guacamole!
Then a little book of devotionals, a box of birthday cards...so now I can send everyone a card for your special day! Also a card with a special verse.
Next is a beautiful kitchen towel, almost too pretty to use! And a pretty bird, which will hang on my card tree.
Then on the outside of my package was this picture with an old red truck. Even the lady at the PO admired it.
Last was this beautiful cross and the little gift bag that Connie had it in.
Connie, I hope I have included all of the gifts you sent me. You have blessed me with your generosity, and your love. God bless you! Thank you!

I hope everyone has a wonderful mothers day this Sunday.
We will be celebrating Triston's 25th birthday too. He will be leaving us on June 18th to enter the Air Force. He has 7-8 weeks of basic training, and can not talk to or see his family or Baylee, or us. Then after a brief visit, there in San Antonio, he immediately begins his specialized training, on Monday following his Friday graduation from basic. We have no idea how long that training will last.
We do know that the Air Force is pretty particular about who they accept. In other words they don't take guys or girls without the most thorough back ground check I have ever heard of. They ask a million questions and seem to leave no stone unturned. His mom has been married three times...they checked her out as well as every one of the men. They had to have the medical records of his appendectomy when he was about 16. They may know him better than anyone else around.
What I know is he is sweet, kind and loves our grand daughter.
