Mine will probably be mailed Saturday, unless something miraculous makes me more speedy. I left home at 8am and did not get back until 1:35 pm, then thirty minutes to unload my car, then watering horses and a power nap. I washed 18 towels! When I got to the laundromat I went inside and found the lady worker and I told her I have not been to do laundry in town for 27 years..and did not have a clue of what to do. She was sweet to give me the info. It only cost me $18.50 to wash and another $4 to dry. That is expensive. But all but two washers were double, tripple or even larger load sizes.
I asked if they still do laundry for people. She said they do! I had them do our laundry when we had the dairy. I decided that it I had to get up at 3am milk all but one run, shower, go to school, ride the school bus home, get off at the barn, which was up the hill from our house, milk again, shower and fix supper then collapse into bed...there was no time to wash clothes. Besides on Saturday and Sunday after milking I would shower and go back to bed often I did not wake until 1 pm. This was winter time.
But I'm glad to know they provide that service.
It is stormy here.

I meant to post earlier. I received my box from Debbie. Thank you so much for all wonder gifts! She sent some yummy chocolate, raspberry scone mix and honey. Sweet smelling soap and tea, flower seeds I am planting this weekend, beautiful towel with peonies and butterflies on it and a list pad to pretty up my shopping.
Thank you so much Debbie!

I posted yesterday, I thought, but I don’t see it here, so I will post again. I received my Mother’s Day swap package from Darlene yesterday. It contains a quilt block of the month kit of a very nice looking house, a package of tangerine vanilla cashew macadamia, milk chocolate Lindt Lindor truffles, oatmeal raisin cookies, a woodsy Fabric panel with two deer, purple fabric, some batik 5 inch squares, a Fort Laramie National historic site Wyoming magnet, a Glacier National Park magnet, and they skein of pink yarn. And a Mother’s Day card. Thank you, Darlene, I love everything.

Linda what a great package of goodie to celebrate Mother's day. I made that same quilt for friends when they moved away. It was fairly quick to work up.

So glad you liked it, Denise! Those morning glories were so pretty on the cover of the seed packets. I might have to plant some of my own to trail along the fence!

Debbie,
I just love seeing them in the early morning when I'm having my first cupon the porch. A few were out there but someone hit them with the weedeater and they never came back. These colors will be so pretty!

Yes, Denise. I love the center block with the house that Darlene sent. I need to decide what fabrics to put around it.

Mine came with the fabric but I kept the pattern to make again and will chose my own fabrics. I also have one of their Pathway to the Stars quilt to do. So many projects, so little time!

Denise -

It sounds like you made the entire quilt. Can you please post a picture? This is just the fabric for the center block, and I love it. I can finish this block, but to finish the entire quilt would have been hard for me, because I have so many other projects to do. LOL!

Linda,
Yes, I made the whole quilt and gave it to friends when they moved. Sadly I have no photos of it.
It was fairly quick to work up. I got the whole kit at once and it came with fabric pre-cut for each block.

Debbie,
I made the scones with my granddaughter and we all enjoyed them on the porch with tea! They were very good.

I hope each of you have a very happy mother's day!
