Marilyn, I am ready!! I love this cold air!! Looks and feels like fall now! Winnie, so glad your ok, continued prayers for everyone affected.

Marilyn, Holly will be about 6 more miles father away from me.( about 45 minutes) depending on time of day and traffic. I see her every Tuesday and Thursday and get to spend the day with Lily June while she works. They will stay and have supper with us some nights before going home.
Linda, prayers always for you and Ed for your travels!

Connie

Thank you, Connie, prayers fr our traves always appreciatd.

Holly and Lily June won't be that far away - and like you said, you will see them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Is Holly moving closer to her work?

So happy the cooler temps are here; however, 40 degrees is a bit too cool. LOL!

Lol. Linda that's too funny. It is cooler here. And I am enjoying it. The only thing about it is with the change comes allergies and headaches and I am trying to enjoy my grandchildren so don't have time for this.

On Linda I love your blue Texas is closed today sign.We experienced a 44° drop in temps...from a balmy 82° down to 38° and it stayed there until after lunch when it slowly began to creep up...to our high of 42°! We were not ready! I'm still cold! The rain is still falling! At least that North wind is not busting like it was yesterday. All those days back in the summer When I fretted over crepe myrtles, grape vines, climbing roses, etc. That looked dead...God knows best: they are ok.

I know, Marilyn. Went from 82 to 42 overnight. Nothing is little here in Texas - even temperature drops.

I don't blame you Darlene.
I am enjoying some pretty fall weather in Ohio. I could smell that familiar tang in the air when I walked out to get the girls from the bus stop this afternoon. Soaking up all I can.

Winnie it is just awesome here. The sun is shining, it's crisp and cool with that wonderful tang in the air. We are going to take my little chubby pumpkin, Violet to pick apples today. Should be fun with a two yr old. I'll try to get some photos.

It's not winter yet but I am in a better place so I'll be posting from time to time. It's late Oct but everything is green here because of several weeks of rain. No falling leaves - just acorns.

I've made four wool applique pieces and three wool buntings. I used the bunting Connie gifted me for the pattern. The wool applique piece I am working on now is one of my own design - a cream & green enamelware pan with veggies. I drew the pan and used veg embroidery patterns. It will go a table runner for my kitchen table.

It's 49 this morning - perfect day for canning - have Caballero dried beans in pressure canner as I type. After resting I hope to do the floors - a have to do thing. Then to cut out wool for applique. Got to mix a little fun in with household chores.

Marilyn I guess it's adult size. The triangles are 6". I made my a little smaller than Connie's to fit the size of wool pieces I had.
