I'm late on the draw for this short month! I always wish I had more valentines decorations when I take down my Christmas and snowflake décor, and realize I don't have anything to replace it with. We had a lot of light fluffy snow fall yesterday. The kids have been playing outside in it a good part of the day while I caught up on laundry. We might get more tonight, and then again Friday.
We have quite a few February birthdays! Debbie Klann's birthday is on the 20th, Joyce's is the 24th and Denise's is the 25th. Happy birthday February girls! I'm sorry if I left anyone out. Let me know if I did!

| This is SO pretty!!!! Thank you for the early birthday wish! I am so jealous of your snow...it is 60 degrees here...just crazy!!!! Brad said he does not remember having such a warm,Mary winter EVER. I went for a walk this afternoon and didn't need a jacket once I got warmed up. |

| Thank you, Erin! Beautiful pictures :) I really love it! I wish I had more valentine decor as well. I have a quilted heart wall hanging (just small) that I made several years ago, and I made a small valentine mug rug last week. |

To be clear, this is not mine. Just a pretty picture I found, and some good inspiration for a lovely valentine! :) I used to make valentines when I was little out of doilies and old Victorian magazines, pearls and lace that my mom had. Those were such good times.

Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! It's kind of a weird one since it's also Ash Wednesday. Do any of you have big Valentine's plans tonight? We don't really make too much of this holiday (although I do love the hearts and colors!) usually, and Jason has to sing in church for Ash Wednesday service tonight, so we don't have any big plans.

Aw, you're welcome Denise! I know it was sent a little early, but I wanted to make sure I actually did it!
Debbie Fischer, thank you so much for the Valentine's card! That was a lovely surprise.
Joyce I just read your letter and I'm so inspired to make a schedule now! I will write back to you soon.
I hope everyone is doing well. We have had such a wet February so far! I think it's in the 60's today and really wet and muddy. Snow would be nicer to look at, but this weather really makes me excited for spring. We're going to start some flats this weekend. Have any of you started your planting yet? I didn't even order seeds this year. I think I have enough seeds from last year. Sadly the company we always ordered from, Bountiful Gardens, has stopped their mail order seeds. I have a catalog for Baker Creek, but I've never ordered from them before. Where do you all order your seeds from? |

We are having beautiful sunshine today. I have been thinking about my garden a lot lately. Too soon to do anything except what I need to start indoors.
I like Baker Creek. Sometimes I get my seeds from Tractor supply as they sell organic. |

| Jason just picked up some Walla Walla Onion seeds and Beefsteak Tomatoes from Do It Best on the way home yesterday. You're right Denise, you can often find acceptable seeds just at the store. |

| I usually get them at Rainbow Seeds - an Heirloom Seed store in Canada. I'm dreaming and planning right now :) Even bought myself a garden journal this year for the first time! |

Hi ladies! I haven't been here in a minute. Unfortunately we have been having some major drama with our (5+ years) best friends. I'm so sad and upset about it. Not to get too into the weeds, but it breaks down to having kids vs not having kids and throw chantix into the mix. Going on vacation with people can sometimes be the kiss of death! I'm at a place right now about the whole situation that is dwelling way too much on it, and then I get upset about it. These are people that I would see every week, and sometimes twice a week. They loved my whole family until this trip, and a lot of ugly and false things were said. It's not a good situation. I would appreciate prayers for positive thoughts and letting go. :(
