A New Year, with lots of new projects to work on. The possibilities are endless!

I decided that I was going to tackle this next UFO hand project

Tulip Gatherings by Lisa Bongean (I love her work). I'm doing the black version. Most of the pieces are cut out. It's pretty much all stitching from here!

Carole that will be beautiful when it's finished. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Working on chapter 2 today. Having fun with this story. Letting my fingers rock and roll across the keyboard. Yes, when writing comes easy for me I think of it as rocking and rolling.

I am working on a Prayer jar! I saw it on Pinterest! I got started, had to get a bigger jar! A Vintage one of course! LOL! Candy jar from My Great Aunt Mattie's store. It sits on my desk and great reminder to pray for all the needs!! I have all our Henhouse in it and other farm Sisters, Face Book family, Church Family, Family, friends, Neighbors, any one who ask!

I am headed to the sewing machine for the first time in months to sew Lily June some Barbie Purses. All the new Barbie purses we found don't open!

Stay Warm! Connie

CJ, love your prayer jar. Great reminder of all the people we care about and pray for. I have the perfect jar. Think I will do one also. It won't take long to fill.

Beautiful quilt Carole. It will be nice to see it finished.

Keep rocking and rolling Sara.

Thanks Brenda, I am sending my story a chapter at a time as I work on it to SPG FarmGirls who want to read it. I write cozy mysteries - strictly PG stuff - simple little stories - and the reader overlooks typos and the odd word. If you or anyone else would like to receive it please send me a PM and I'll get you caught up. I send it by e-mail attachment.

I have Three completed stories:
Anniversary of a Murder
Widow's Pew
Decoration Day Murders
The Silo Murders is the current one I'm working on

Linda, they are for Barbie! The Vintage Barbie purses all opened. This latest Barbie stuff, is molded plastic that does not open. Lily June has had a few of my old ones. she use to them opening. She puts their necklaces, sunglass in the bags and play tiny food! LOL! It took more time to get the machine threaded than it did to sew! LOL!

Cute purses. I remember ones that opened. I had a Barbie that different wigs. Blonde, red, and brown. Each one was a different hair style. Gave her to my daughter. She has them packed away. Most likely still here in the attic. Lol.

I finally finished another UFO. A lot more intense than I thought. Glad it's done.

But, I made a mistake. Not that you could tell unless you had the pattern and looked meticulously! I forgot one friggen fracken #$%# tongue. Instead of 24 tongues, it has 23!

Yea, like watch me take it all apart! NOT!

Carole,
What a gorgeous piece!
I am with you on not taking it apart but I'm not sure it wouldn't drive me crazy knowing I missed one. So much work in that but so beautiful!

Carole it's stunning. A missed piece or stitch here or there is what gives handwork it's personality. Trust me when it comes to handwork mine are full of personality.

Carole! Beautiful! No one would ever know but you! Its like those brain teasers, we could have looked all day and not found that one was missing!!
Brenda, I have those wigs too! Lily June put them on Ken! LOL!
Sara, She stuffs as long as the purse will hold it! LOL!
Since we been iced in for 2 days and it will probably be 2 more days, I wished I had made it to walgreens to print pictures from my flash drive of lily june and i could have worked on her scapbook. I didin't have a car prior to the ice and snow, my daughter borrowed it . Her car was being repaired and I already have a Car seat installed for Lily June. I am going to read some of Sara's writings. Im excited to do that.

Carole that's beautiful. I once cross stitched a horse head for my daughter. I completely miss a whole square. It's 18 count and doesn't show. I like mistakes. They make items definitely one of a kind.

I'm going to be working on my heart item for Brenda's swap, and then some other spring and generic items to sell in the small shop I have things in. It is COLD outside, so great day to play inside. Of course, I also have to clean house sometime. LOL!

Each month I am hoping to tackle another room of the house. This month is my kitchen. I've been going through my cabinets and reorganizing, as well as putting contact paper on the shelves. Today I am working on my pantry. It is a closet pantry... and has all my jars of various types of flour. Being gluten free, we often mix flours to bake. It is also where we keep our other baking ingredients, as well as rice, though I'm hoping to possibly get that out of the pantry soon. Yesterday I helped clean up our storage room as well... I still need to go through it, getting rid of some stuff, but at least it is better.
