I think this is a good idea. At present, I happen to have about 6 books that I have waiting to read as I try and finish two that I already started. Even if we are not interested in swapping, having this link would be a great place to share what we have been reading. I think sharing interesting books would be fun and then if we wish , we have a forum in which to do that.
At the Antique Mall I visited on Thursday, I found these paperback books that are murder mysteries written by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown. Sneaky Pie is her tiger kitty and the actual "writer" of the stories! I have read about 30 pages of the first book and it is great and funny too. Seeing the world through the cat's perspective is so much fun!! Plus, the stories take place in Crozet, Virginia, which is about a 20 mile drive from Charlottesville, Va where I was raised. The book talks about all these places and traditions of my grown up. The books were written in the 1990s and were a New York Times Bestseller series. I'll let you know how it all goes when I finish. Has anyone else red this series? If so, what did you think?
Speaking of murder mysteries and starting one that originates in a small town with the main character a woman and her dog, cat and other farmyard friends, I got to wondering how Pearl is doing out there in Texas. Sara, any gossip or news coming from Pearl and friends? If you see her anywhere, let her know we miss her tales!! |

Thanks Winnie. It may be best to keep the threads separate so we don't confuse what is available for swapping with what we have read or are reading. There is a thread that was started by Amy I will bring it up again. |

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done. Philippians 4:6
Just follow God unquestioningly. Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

Everyone, I started a new link under the category, Book Discussions, called Book Reports to share. You will find it by clicking on the category called Book Discussions when you first bring up the homepage. This link is where we can share a book we found a great read. This link should help everyone keep the book swapping and book reporting separate . |
