Denise, When I have a big job to tackle, I find myself putting it off...because I dread getting it all out and sorting...as long as it is where it is, in those tubs, at least it is not scattered all about. Now that spring break is here, I had hoped to get a lot done, and wouldn't you know it my husband will be home. Oh well, I will make my daily lists and see how much I can accomplish.

I guess we are all alike....getting a little forgetful. But we have lived in our house for 53 of the 55 years (st. Patrick's day) since we were married. I just know I didn't buy all that stuff we have accumulated. I think some of it must breed in the storage tubs. We are desperately trying to get rid of it. But lately I have had pneumonia for three weeks and can't do anything. It's amazing how much you can overlook if you have to. Lol

Bonnie you are funny. Like you...where did it all come from. Treasures, books, clothes, junk! Christmas decorations. We have moved eight times since 1962, and I still have a mess. I remember our first move way out to west Texas...It all fit in that big old car with room to spare. That was before furniture.
I hope you are feeling better, and your energy is returning. God bless you.

Glad your feeling better Bonnie.
I remember when I moved to California, it was with my car and a little trailer towed on the back. Now I have a house full,,,Whooeee!
I am trying to thin it out though.

have a good night.

Sara it was so good to talk with you the other day on the phone. We will have to try that again when I don't have company. I'm sorry if I seemed a little distracted. Hoping you had a wonderful birthday day and month. Give Annie a extra hug from me.

Good morning,

Taking the time to catch up!

FYI, the bug won ... a sinus infection ...

I was a tad concerned as one of Pumpkin's suite mates had been rushed to the hospital back in mid February with 106 fever ... it was a horrible sinus infection that developed into cellulitis of the eye .... for which she had to have surgery to drain the liquid. Poor child ... I can just imagine how worried her parents were.

So THANKFUL that I was able to manage my sinus infection with lots of home made chicken soup and mega amounts of R&R. DH had gone to PA for a weekend with the boys ... it was wonderful to have the house to myself. I'm still not fully recovered .... mainly due to the time change ... I really do not like that time change .... it wrecks havoc on my body! My vote is for Let time be!

WOW! Lots' of spring cleaning going on!

Winnie, enjoy your trip to Spain and Portugal. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures.

Bonnie, Hope you are feeling better. Yea I think my fabric scraps multiply when I'm not looking! lol

Off to close the shoppe and head on home to enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature! Hugs!

It is absolutely gorgeous here .... Just came back from shoveling snow .... we have over 6 inches of snow

and still falling strong ....

After shoveling I stood by my kitchen window and admired the wild birds coming to the feeder. I imagine they are re-fueling for the long winter night! Such beauty!

Thank Darlene and Sherry!

It continues to snow! There has been a lot of shoveling in the last 24 hours .... and I really do not mind! Here is a picture of my front steps ... there was over 9 inches of snow and this after I shoveled it last night around 8:30 p.m.!

To give you an idea of the amount of snow we are enjoying ....

It is beautiful out there. Check out my bird feeder!

Now that's a lot of snow on that small roof! I've had lots of birds stop by ... more than usual ... and breeds I had not seen in a while ... such beauty!

Good morning SPG Sisters, I have been dealing with heavy fatigue so for the last several days I have been reading but not posting. Instead of posting on different topics I will do it all here.

I want to thank each of you who sent me birthday and Saint Patrick's Day cards. Loved them all.

When prayers have been requested I have joined in with praying.

I joined in on a barter with Linda for two of her mini aprons for two yards of MJF fabric. I totally got the better end of this bargain. Her mini aprons are beautiful.

I will continue to read and post when I am up to it.

YEEHAW! Ed and I booked a 14-day cruise to the Panama Canal for the end of October. I can't wait to go! It will be getting cold here, and we will be going from/to Galveston to 7 ports!
