Yesterday, late afternoon, I decided to machine quilt this top I had on my design wall. It's been done for a couple of weeks, I needed to find the motivation to just do it!

The pattern is from the book 12-Pack Quilts from Me & My Sister. I just love that book! It's the second quilt I make from it!

This is the machine quilting I did. I converted the photo into b&w so that you could see the stitching better.

I finished machine quilting it by 11:30 p.m. - I was beat. Took it off the long arm and went straight to bed. I'll be machine stitching the binding on today getting it ready to hand sew it on. Pumpkin has already claimed this quilt, along with numerous other quilts! lol I love that kid! It is such a great feeling with your children appreciate your hobby!

What have you all been working on? Do share. It's so motivating, it inspires us to create!

Catch you later!

Thanks Linda and Darlene. Today I am hand sewing the binding on! I love that part. There isn't much about the quilting process that I don't like.

Catch you later! Cheers!

OOOOOOOOOOO Carole love it!!!!!!! I am doing something simple right now, putting some of my Farmgirl cards in an old photo album since I keep my photos on flash drives I don't need albums as much. I keep some of them with Holiday decorations.

Connie, great idea! I did that with my card swap cards. Just love looking at them. I did them on scrapbook pages so I could open them and read again.

Love that idea, Connie! I was going to try to do a junk journal type of place to store my cards and remembrances but I'm afraid I'll never get to it. I like your idea!

I have a little tiny suitcase that my dad gave me and it is full of my farmgirl cards, notes and letters. I ran out of storage space for them in albums and this little case is so cute!

Great idea Denise. I have an old suitcase from a flea market. I could use it for MJF things. I have my gg grandma's chamber pot and some of my grandma's things in it now.

That is cute Katie. I love that you cut the ribbing away. I used to make appliqued jackets from sweatshirts. Fun creative outlet. I need to get busy and finish a couple I started long ago. It is supposed to be cold this winter.
