I found the magazine at Tractor Supply. I knew I could purchase it there, however the last time I was there, it hadn't come in yet. Stopped by yesterday and snatched a copy!

Thank you again Connie, for pointing out the magazine! What a great idea! I'm looking forward to putting my Fairy condo together.I'm thinking of putting it by the old oak tree. That's where our fairies live! The strawberry patch could be a good place too! Hum ...

Beautiful quilts Connie and Carole! Love the fairly gardens! How Cute!

Decided to knit myself a sweater without using a pattern. Just a simple one. So far it's looking good. I'm at the part of deciding the size of the armholes. I'm using Kitten mohair yarn my daughter purchased for me a few years ago. Hope it will fit. Lol. If not someone else will have a new sweater.

Marilyn the baby is fortunate to have so many lovely handmade items. Wow what a blessing for you, a little one brings so much joy. Connie I love the fairy garden, you have inspired me. I may just give it a try,. Yours is huge, I like the idea of being able to get the items cheap. Brenda you are so talented to knit a sweater without a pattern. I can't imagine, well to be honest I can't imagine knitting a whole sweater period. Carole your quilts are always amazing. Hugs!

Yes Marilyn absolutely. I love the area we moved to. We can actually be in the mountains in no time! Looking forward to moving there when the hubs fully retires. Thanks for asking. Maryellen

I am working on wool appliqué. Easter stuff. I'm in a tizzy. We're having the bathroom re-done and things will be torn up. I'm having a knee replacement May 11. Trying to get stuff ready and the garden ready before I go to the hospital.

Bonnie, be sure to have some of your wool embroidery to work on after your knee surgery. I did a lot of embroidery and red work following my two knee replacements, when I was sitting with the ice bag.
Best wishes for your healing time. Also HUGS and prayers. Being able to walk without pain is wonderful.

Bonnie, good to see you!

Well, I'm still thinking about that Fairy garden and where I want to put it. With having had a tree professionally removed late November last year, do you think I'll have a problem looking for wood? LOL

When the weather gets nicer, our project is to move all of that wood from the front of the yard to the back!

Carole my older sister lives on 2 1/2 wooded acres and her husband has cut rounds from a fallen tree for her to use as stepping stones from her raised garden back into the woods and down to the creek.

Marilyn, thanks for the warning but we do not have poisonous snakes where we are. Garden snakes only and they are not dangerous nor poisonous. Although I did read somewhere that there has been some sighting of rattlers in the Adirondack. Not sure that is true. I would need to do some research!

I'm so glad we decided to take that tree down. It's bass wood and so porous. It had rot right down the middle. I kind of felt bad because it seemed to be the home of many creatures, but it was close to the house and losing lots of branches.

Gosh, time to do a bit of sharing. I've been working on some UFOs. I have so many blocks stitched (hand embroidered) that just need to be pieced into a finished project.

I finished stitching this top back in early January 2016. Just put it together a few weeks ago. Not sure why I waited so long, it's so cute!

This one was started and finished in January 16. Pumpkin chose the border fabric as it was stitched for her.

So glad I can cross these UFOs off my list!

What have you been up too?

Catch you later! Cheers!

Love the Harry Potter quilt. I've never seen that embroidery piece. The other is nice too, I like the pieced border.

Today I sorted and sealed the bags of mini aprons to go out to everyone. Now I am going to go to Ed's - I'll be staying in the motorhome, since the A/C is on in it and his house A/C is not on. My grand twins MAY be coming over to help clean up Ed's pasture/yard. We just finished a home improvement project and all the scraps are all over the place. I'm supposed to keep my feet UP, and so far today that hasn't happened. LOL! I wonder why. Last week I finished 3 quilt tops at retreat, 1 apron almost done, 2 little girls purses, and started 2 challenge projects.

Carole, those are adorable!
I am beginning to sort my fabric. Can't sew as fast as it seems to sneak in the house! Lol

Bonnie, I love your comment about fabric sneaking in your house. I have that here too...in fact my trip to the fabric shop on Friday, after my dental quickie, resulted in three half hard cuts and a row by row pattern sneaking in. I love fabrics. I adore the beautiful colors and prints we see now days.

I was in Michaels wondering around and found the prettiest sparkly leaves and have put them on it and probably will put some on the back to cover the edges. I don't have any lace to edge it with.
I really like this fan, almost too much to part with it.

hugs
