I wondered about the porch, but since it is acrylics, I'm afraid the weather would deteriorate it very quickly. My porch faces north and gets the worst of the north and east/west winds and rain.

Linda, lovely sign. I'm thinking that if the spot on your porch is out of the sun and away from the weather elements, it might be okay!

Linda, your painting turned out great. Was that your first party?

I have never gone to one but have been amazed that children can go and come home with a painting to be proud of.

It was my second Painting with a Twist episode. I enjoyed it, and the best part was I liked this picture. My other "class" was a picture that is sitting between my dryer and the wall right now. LOL!
As for the porch, I'm wondering if it would survive if I get a spray-on sealer for it? If we get a hard blowing rain, it can reach to the outside wall of the house.
I've wondered about taking my grandsons.

Your grandsons would probably enjoy going. Even kids who say they "can't paint " are usually surprised. Perhaps you have an artist.

Marlee, my tablet is getting old. The sound quality is deminishing. I love it. But I know I will need one soon. I was recently off of email for several days too. I understand.

Linda maybe you can find a out door spray on varnish for your painting. and give it a couple of coats when the the weather isn't humid.
It is such a nice painting.

Marlee, Glad to have you back. Computers can be so annoying.

Take care all!

Marlee, good to see you!

Not much going on here. I am still in the "finish project" mode. I've been going through my sewing closet, getting projects I want to complete out and in plain view. I'm visual so I need to see it to work on it .... Yea, it does create a mess in my sewing studio if I'm too ambitious!

I've been working on The Lorax quit (Dr. Seuss) a quilt my little Pumpkin started at least 5 years ago if not more. The blocks were pieced, it was just a question of putting it all together. I did cut the sashing a couple of years ago ... it is one of those fussy cut sashing. She never got around to totally putting it all together so ..... I pulled it out of my closet and decided to complete it for her on Saturday.

As I mentioned, I'm on a cleaning/completing mode ....

Catch you later!

Marlee, so glad your computer problems are taken care of and you are back!

Carole,
I am in cleaning mode to but I dare not open the door to that great area JT fixed for me. I need to get in there and starting straightening up again. So many things come up.
We just put bunk beds in the spare room where bil is since the kids are coming for Easter and he is making more effort to find a house. Told us he is working toward being out by the end of March. When that happens I can expand my area a little into the room. Not much since little people will also be using the room but I'm sure I can come up with something.
It has been gorgeous here, can hardly believe it's February.

Denise~~

Hey Marlee, My Cat friend! Glad your back!
I got my new fridge, instead of noon, Thursday it came at 7:30 that night! My daughter was in Dallas I was suppose to have Lily June just the next day but my SIL scratched his cornea really bad in his right eye and I had to go get lily June and keep her Thursday until Sunday night. Granny Bear was pooped!! Catching up the last 2 days. Love the new fridge , has more room and ice and water on the door and really bright light inside. Getting ready for Lily June's 2nd Birthday party, both sides of the family will come to my house on Sunday so I got a lot of work to do Saturday! Both Great-Grandparents are coming, I am excited to get a picture of everyone!

My oldest grand daughter is doing clinicals at a nursing home. Last night a lady passed away. She and the other girls had to clean the lady up and prep her for transfer to the funeral home. She says she did not cry. She is maturing, growing up. I am not sure I could have done that...but I admire those who can.

It has to be hard but they kind of are able to back off from it. Sort of desensitizing, That has got to be hard for those who really care about the people they care for.
I will put her in my prayers.

Blessings
