Hello everyone,

I think most of us are sitting on the front porch, well at least here in the way northeast of NY, the time has finally arrived. The temperatures are comfortable.

We have had a lot of rain. The greenery is quite lush and the mosquitoes are in abundance!

For those new to our forum, we start a new thread every month. This makes it easier for us to refer back to the various topics that were discussed. It also keeps the thread from being a gazillion pages long!

Have a seat in your favourite chair, grab a cuppa and let the friendly chatter continue during the month of July!

Sherry, I totally understand!! Happy FGOTM to YOU!!! I know you are going to enjoy your special month too.

Carole, nothing too exciting to write about today. We are going to Fernandina Beach next week for a couple of days to celebrate my birthday. It is a quaint town on Amelia Island and a place we like to visit and just enjoy the water and walk around the town.

Good Morning all. I am grabbing a quick cup of coffee with you this morning. I love the porch this time of day, it is quiet, except for the birds who are waking up. My porch protector Fuffy, just opened one eye to look at me and wonder why I was up so early. Fluffy, is well, a big orange fluff ball who spends most of his time sleeping on the patio chairs around our propane fire pit we have on our deck. So everyone who sits in the chairs comes away covered in orange cat hair. I just started keeping towels out here to put down before you sit. I tried tipping the cushions up but he figured out how to readjust them to be more comfortable to him. He is persistent. I am off to the big city today with my daughter. A day of appts. and shopping yuk! Everyone have a good day. The only way I will is if I get to stop at a quilt store, yarn shop ( I know where 2 of them are) , farm store (I have a long list for there) or she keeps me supplied with those really good, expensive coffee drinks only big cities have :).

Hugs
Julie

Well Julie, somebody has to keep those chairs warm! Hope you get to stop in and shop and find some goodies to give a new home to. That always makes a day of appointments better.

Evening Everyone, Julie hope you had a good day in the big city. Wish I could come sit awhile on your porch and visit, but not quite so early. Although in the morning I have to get up and going. Markie emailed me today to tell me the peaches are ready at the farm where we get them every year and where we get our Christmas tree. So off early to get peaches, if you don't they will be gone. Then we are going to ride an hour west to Canton, one of the biggest flea markets in Texas to get a few things we need for the booth. Will not stay long it's to hot this time of year. So everyone have a good restful night and will see you tomorrow.

Farmgirl Hugs & May all your Wishes come true.

Just letting you know how my day went. I went to the doctor for general check up and had a booster pneumonia shot, talked th Physicians assistant today for awhile, went to get my prescription filled and then went to the grocery store there, I was then going to Fortuna to Safeway and never made it till later. I had a reender .
Then I was towed home and then called my insurance and then went and got a rental car and then went to ER and got checked out and then got to the Safeway in Fortuna.
Came home and am glad to be here. I have wonderful neighbors.
That is all I am going to say, for now. I am blessed and still here.
Love you all and good night.

Happy 4th of July celebration! Wishing you a wonderful weekend full of happy celebrations!

Anyone have plans for this weekend of celebration? I am just happy to get a day off! lol Lots of activities are going on around us. Fireworks galore! Our neighbouring town will have a parade and fireworks on Sunday. I like that there's something going on various nights and not all together. We have a BBQ to attend on Sunday with friends.

Darlene, how are you feeling today? Gosh I hope you are not to bashed up. ((((hugs))))

Alicia, what a lovely day spent with family! Thank you for sharing!

Shannon, how are you feeling today? Have you been doing a lot of water drinking?

Keep well everyone!
