Hey, ladies. I am only dropping in to ask that you not panic if appear to have fallen off the face of the earth--I haven't. I'm still here, I'm just consumed by something else at the moment. We found out on Friday that our beloved eldest dog, Sonora, has cancer. We put her down yesterday afternoon. I'll be back in a few days, just need some time to pull myself together. Thanks.

Oops. Mom was over for Mother's Day and loved the clothespins. I'll make some more. Have I missed some information, do we have an update yet on sending these?

I e-mailed my info but haven't heard back yet ~ am I still in? If so, where am I sending my clothespins? :) Thanks!

Also, I don't think I'm getting e-mail from Mary Jane's on a regular basis so maybe you can e-mail me directly at oldquiltlover@hotmail.com

Oh, I would like to do 36, and did request to be put on that list. But I'm still waiting to hear back. I did have 36 before I gave 1/2 to my mom. :) They are fun...getting kind of nervous about not hearing back in so long. I'm very sorry about the loss of the pet. I do hope this swap goes through. If not, I still have cute clothespins to use myself.

We make a difference.

Ladies,
I was being nosey and reading your string.
Clothespin swapping sounds interesting.
Does any of you have photos of your creations?
I don't wish to join. I just would like to take a look see.

Just bumping us with yet another updated list (with changes either struckout or in bold):

Single Round Participants

A.k.a. farmgirls making 18 clothespins, getting a mix of 18--all new!--clothespins back:

Kim
simpler1773
Aunt George
EmmJay
Buttercup
Huckelberrywine
Firemama
owwlady
sleeplessreader
KitchenWitch

Double Round Participants

Or farmgirls making 36 clothespins and getting a mix of 36--including six of their own!--back again:

smoothiejuice
katmom
BotanicalBath
BlueWrenn
Huckelberrywine
KitchenWitch

Huckelberrywine, you'll note you're on the list for both 18 and 36 now. Sleeplessreader and Firemama, you're both in for 18!

I know some of you get nervous that you aren't hearing from me--I apologize. I have limited email access at the same time that I am unusually focused on both a new job and my family (because my partner is devastated by the loss of our beloved pet). I haven't disappeared and I'm not insensitive, I'm just spread a little thin. I'm trying to balance everything without disappointing anyone, but I can see I'm not exactly succeeding. Sorry.

$3.00 is fine for postage.

If I haven't replied to your email to me yet, then I haven't seen it. Sometimes items get sent to my junk folder and are purged before I have a chance to check the folder. If you haven't gotten a response, please know I am NOT ignoring you. If you will just resend your email, I will get you all of the relevant info.

Thanks for your patience, kindness, and enthusiasm ladies!

Live joyfully, deliberately, simply, abundantly.

KitchenWitch,
Good to hear from you.
Would it be easier if we just sent in 30 so 6 wouldnt have to be sent back and forth? Or is it to allow a few more swappers to join the group?
I did send you a email,I hop you got it....but my info will be in the box too.

Sometimes when you are organizing a swap like this it is very difficult to keep straight who sent what and oh, do not give x number to this person because they already have theirs and on and on, i would just send all of yours. I think that would be easiest...just my experience. jess
