Wow you gals do great work, I am trying to finish (its new not one I had started) a needlepoint ornament that I had just ordered it is of a Palm Tree the theme I picked out for my summer visit to my sisters in CA. But seeing all the neat things that are being done I decided to work on a beginners level badge for cross stitch so I will be making a bookmark.
After that I think will work on some of my UFO needlepoints.

Winnie, it's actually a trio. There is a pumpkin, ghost, and scarecrow. It will be fun to finally put them all together this fall and see how they all look.

How is everyone doing on their UFOs? I feel like I have really slowed down. I am hoping to finish my next UFO this weekend. I am hoping once the kids start school again I will have a little more time to get more UFOs done.

Laast month I sent 4 quilts to the long arm quilter. YAY!
2 were Star Wars tops I made using a fabric panel as the middle with 2-3 borders; they are for my twin grandsons. I've had the panels for 4-5 years, so it is good I got them done.
1 was a red and white quilt of swapped blocks - the pattern is broken sugar bowl - that we did 3-4 years ago in my guild. I guess it is about time they were finished, too. LOL!
the 4th is a quilt top I bought over 8 years ago at a thrift shop - the pattern looks like bandanas, but they are printed, not real bandanas.
It's about time for all of them, right??
I'll post pictures when I get them back.

When I finish my needlepoint stockings I am going to get back to my UFOs. I tried working on both things at the same time, but I really have to get the stockings finished before anyone in my family has another addition! I will be done with these for Christmas this year if I keep at it! I am so proud of the accomplishment!

Nancy, that is awesome! You really should feel proud of your accomplishment! One day I would like to make my kids a stocking like that. My grandma made one for me and I still cherish it today. I would love to give them something just as special.

I finished my next UFO!! Feels like it's been forever lol! This cross stitch was gifted to me and I just love it! Now I need a frame to finish it off. On to the next one!

HaHa! Krista,, I also did the "Free Hugs" cacti in a vase as a gift for an elderly friend.. easy-peasy and relatively fast,, as long as I don't put it down! lol!

I have joined the Sisterhood of unfinished projects. Somehow, I have 2 quilt tops halfway done and a quilt label to embroider. The Peacock quilt is ready to get batting and backing and to be hand quilted.

I need to hand quilt it over the winter. I'll stitch around the bird and flowers then make a pretty pattern on the aqua portions and the lattice strips.
