Grace your kitty is adorable. We no longer very have a kitty. Both died of old age.
But we have Rainey, who is 3 years old and now we have another Schnauzer. When we met the lady, to pick him up on Saturday, we had no idea he would be so tiny. I named him Charlie!
Today he has turned into a little toot. He runs, rolls, and now he barks and growls. But he is still so stinkin' cute.

Omy Gosh Grace the name (Katmom) fits you! I too am a cat mom, my little orange med hair boy is called Merlin he is such a baby he even likes to be held and rocked lightly. I was at Walmart today and bought him a new break away collar and a big orange carrot it has catnip in the end and green feathers & green ribbons on the top it is almost as big as he is.

The camo collar was my hubby's choice. It is a collar for a tiny kitten and it has a tiny tinkling bell. That was suggested by the lady who gave us this tiny puppy. I have good news...the older Schnauzer who did not like the pup on Saturday or Sunday or Monday or Tuesday now tolerates this tiny intruder.

Ok, I finished up my F.S. Project,, and got it all packaged up.. now to try to drive into town to the P.O. ( hopefully today) and get it mailed off before the rates go up again…
Luv sewing with the F.S., it transports me back to a time when sewing was out of necessity and fun..
I think of all those women who would barter with their neighbors for a specific fabric printed sacks to complete a dress or matching children outfits. Or matching shirts for father and son.
Even a simple unadorned apron brought joy at being resourceful.
Imagine all the husbands who were given specific colors or print designs so when the husband went to the feed store, he would try to bring back sacks in the requested print for his wife.
Table cloths, kitchen curtains and towels…
Every piece was put to use, even a small 2” scrap could be used in a quilt.. or in my case. a 4” piece is perfect to make a ‘yo-yo’..
I wonder if future generations of sewers will appreciate the simple F.S. and it’s myriad of uses..?..

Grace, aka Katmom Thank you Thank you. After I got home from work yesterday, my husband came in the house and said there is a package out front, he was on his tractor and I guess I did not hear him. I was so excited I said maybe it is from my Farmgirl Sister, and sure enough it was. I felt like it was my birthday! The apron is so pretty I love the big pocket and the embroider butterfly on it, orange has been my new favorite color for the last couple of years. The banner will hang in my art room to inspire me. The bowl lid cover fits the cover lid of my small enamel pot that I use for compost it looks so cute now sitting the counter, The tiny little apron is adorable, the yoyo pillow case is perfect you have sent so much, I just love everything. I do not sew, and I really appreciate it when I get something that was hand sewn.I am still working on yours. O my cat, named Merlin wanted me to thank you for the box, it is his new bed for now!

The yoyo deco pillow cover is a standard 12x12 size so you can buy a new insert or tuck an older one in it.

Grace please do post pictures since I do not have a cell phone to do so. I love the yoyo pillow cover, I just love everything banner (I know that is not the correct word but for the life of me I can not think of it) is already hanging in my art room. Everything was just so great!
