The last Apron swap was so much fun I thought it would be nice to do another one. This time since we are mailing to our partners I have to add a new rule Only True Blue Farms Gilrs can sign up. I am not doing this to be mean but in the last few swaps the girls who didn't come through were new ones so I am going to try this way this time.
I will take sign ups for 2 weeks then we will mail to our partners May 30 a full size apron and few little tuck ins.
Does anyone want to swap?
Hugs,
Elizabeth

I'd like to swap - but I don't really do vintage.....I assumed (not good) that its something
we create ourselves....or do we go out looking for already made stuff? Full-sized means
something with a bib, yes?

I'm with June...Elizabeth,
Can you share the rules?
How many partners?

This sounds like a great way to increase my apron supply.
Thanks!

Last time, we made the aprons. I am assuming that will be the same for this round. OK, count me in. I just bought Cindy Taylor Oates aprons booklet. I made one of the half aprons, and it turned out so nice. I can't wait to try her full aprons for this swap.

They are homemade. You can buy one and embrodiery a design on if you want. The only rules are you must be a True Blue Farm Girl and must follow the deadline. I will partner everyone up with one partner. What esle would like to know?
I am so happy to see so many joining in.

Elizabeth

I ended up having to buy the apron for the last one because I didn't get it done in December, and then tax season started, and I didn't have time for much of anything. Most of you would think that making an apron is a "slam, dunk", but I haven't cut out a pattern and sewn anything for about 30 years! I've done nice, straight little quilt seams, but nothing requiring fitting or gathers or anything else like that. So, it seems like a big project to me! I thought the apron I bought for the swap was kind of cute because it was yellow (my swap partner's favorite color), and it was reproduction feed sacks, which I thought was kind of appropriate for our farmgirl list. Anyway, I had a pattern I wanted to try, so since tax season is winding down, I should have plenty of time to actually sew one for this swap. So, I'd like to join! Kathy T

I also just purchased (4) vintage aprons off ebay,,,like I really needed them! but I am addicted to vintage aprons & hats, oh heck I am addicted to most everything old, lucky for my DH...hahaha!

Margie,
Its the name underneath your user name and above the stars on the sidebar where it shows who posted here.
Some are farm girls in training if they haven't been here very long or haven't posted much and then it changes to something else with the more you post.
