I was just curious to know if anyone has a myspace?

I feel so behind on the times. I keep hearing about myspace but haven't ever looked into it. Isn't it where you post a profile about yourself? Just wondering...

I HATE myspace. There may be some good stuff on there but I find a lot of junk. I had a myspace page to talk about my crafting and my email got overflown with sexually explicite emails and inquiries from other people in myspace. I was disgusted and promptly cancelled my account.

I signed on because I wanted to meet up with old friends from boarding school. We were a small school (500 total) and most of us are spread all over the world. 90% of my classmates have myspace pages, and it's been great to see what everyone is up to...
I get a bunch of porn related garbage and sales crap in my regular email, too, even with spam guard. General rule of thumb: if you don't recognize them, don't pay attention.

I have a MySpace account to keep up with previous classmates and also to keep a tab on siblings and youth group kids. They put so much information on the internet and don't realize how harmful it might be! If you want to find out about your kids lives... get a myspace account and have them add you as a friend. |

Theresa - that's a really good idea! Sometimes I'm SO glad that my little ones are too young to use the computer...

I have a myspace. I had one in the past and cancelled it, but I decided to do another one. I found that putting my myspace to private where only my friends can see it makes it more enjoyable. I dont get any emails except from people I know. I also have used it to keep tabs on youth group kids. Amazing what people will say about themselves. Like I said though, putting it to private makes the whole experience different.
