I finally finished my new embroidered throw pillow and had to show it off! It's a real 'use what I had' project. It's made from leftover sheeting, leftover em. floss from my last x-stitch project, and an old pillow form. The only new stuff is the blue cording (1.50$) Now I want to make a whole couch full

Happy Stitching!

Meggie, What a great way to use up leftovers! I checked out your blog and I love the Regency dress you made and you look great in it. I am glad to see more women in dresses. I have been wearing only dresses for so long I can't remember what it feels like to put on a pair of jeans. I do wear Cuddleduds under my dresses in the winter. They keep me nice and warm. Denise

What a great way to use what you have. I enjoyed the pictures of your week in dresses/skirts. I am going to try that when the weather warms up consistently.

it's always a challenge to use what you have but you made it look beautiful, good job! I am in love with embroidery right now, I hadn't done it since I was like 10 until last week and started making a set of dishtowels, sooo cute! I'll post 'em when I'm done, for sure!

I thought your pillow looked inviting, so I laid my head on on it and took me a little nap and had a pretty little daydream about flowers. It is very nice. Thanks for sharing it. |
