They are sooooo cute! I'm trying VERY hard to not bring home baby ducklings home from the feed store, BUT after seeing these two, I'm done for! I have 9 pet ducks and really don't need more, but there is just something about baby ducks! Can you post a picture when they go swimming/diving in your bath tub? I love it! Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Lu

yes, we got pictures today..have to upload them to the computer..will get them posted soon. LOL they do wrap your heart strings around their little baby yellow fluff huh? it was so funny today..I called them"here babies!" and opened my arms while I was sitting Indian style outside on the ground...and here they came a running and crawling up my skirt to get up next to my chest..I was one proud"mama" LOL it was so sweet..I think they are bonding with me. they sure like cuddling with me when I hold them.

oh, and they love roly poly pill bugs too.ha.

Tina- They are so adorable! I love their names. And if they are both girls, "Daffy" could be short for Daffodil. If they are both boys, well that would be a different story!

Tina, listen to them peep. Males are a lot quieter. If anyone tells a man I said that I'll deny it!

I know someone who once believed that pill bugs are baby armadillos. We live in Maine.....

oh Robin..I had to laugh out loud at the pill bugs being baby armadillos...they must have been very young when they thouight that. LOL

actually pill bugs are not really bugs at all..but are related to the horshoe crab!and are isopods.

well..one of the babies is louder than the other..I'll have to listen more carefully..but it seems one is certainly more verbal than the other.would be neat if I had indeed chosen a "pair"

thanks for that bit of information.
