Thank you Michele and Karen for the kind comment.

Cast on another project. A kit I had bought a few years ago. The pattern is called Katie's Kep by Wilma Malcolmson.

I'm using Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight. I'm liking how my colour work is turning out. Getting better with each project! lol

Wow, December is quickly approaching. I'm looking forward to some down time from school deadlines! I love knitting because if all I have is a few minutes, I can pick up my project and get a row done. It's such a portable project.

Yours in Fibre,

Oh my gosh that is beautiful Carole. Wow. You do amazing knitting.
My socks are coming along. I have the heel turned and have to do another row or two of decreases, then ready to knit the foot. Happy Knitting everyone.

Thank you, Michele, it was a fun knit and I think she will like it. I also wrote a poem to go with it....

Many times, I’ve wanted to reach out and give you a hug.
But the miles have gotten in the way.

So, I grabbed two sticks and a bit of string and knitted a hug just for you.
One stitch for Love,
One stitch for hope,
One stitch for hugs,
One stitch for wishing your wishes come true.
Stitch after stitch, row after row, all of these incorporated within.

So, whenever you need a hug from me, just wrap this shawl around you and feel all the love, hugs and wishes within.

Theresa I love your poem! So much time and love in that gift. She is one lucky niece to have you as an aunt.

Carole - your color work projects are amazing! Not sure I'm ready for that yet LOL! But it's something to look forward to!

Theresa - I'm not a big skull fan, but that shawl is fantastic! Love the poem you put with it.

I finished my last hat:

They were a huge hit! The kids put them on as soon as they opened them and even though it was plenty warm in the house they left them on for quite a while.

All the yarn projects I have left for Christmas are crochet. I am looking forward to knitting something else after Christmas though. I really enjoyed learning to knit again!!!

Anyone working on anything right now or is it break time? LOL! I'm so excited. I just got on Ravelry and there are a bunch of illusion knitting dishcloth patterns for free!!! I have to finish up a couple projects first before I can start another one but I'm hoping to try a snowflake or heart one soon! I have to check my supply of cotton yarn. I'm not sure what colors I have left.

Ravelry is where I found that Santa scarf. First time I paid 6 dollars for the pattern, but glad I did. One thing it was emailed instantly, which was nice. Have fun picking your first project Heather. oh yes my daughter in law loved the scarf!!

Love Ravelry! And yes, it is a rabbit hole for me too!

Just finished 2 hats. Not sure how much I like them, but I think they will look cute on.
