we knitters will stick together Debbie. lol. on a crocheting note. This is a scarf i just finished for one of my daughter in laws. She loves Christmas and her mom gives her a funny sweater every year. though this would be the perfect compliment to her Christmas sweaters. lol.

The scarf is beautiful! I can't imagine how many hours it took you to make each part of it. Great job Michele!

Oooo! Love this thread! I have been teaching knitting classes for almost two decades now. At home, I always have so many projects going on at once. My goal is to get them all finished. I am making a beautiful teal blue sweater top right now. Almost done with the back. It has a shimmery thread through it. The last thing I finished recently was a dog coat for my mom’s dog.

Michele, the scarf is adorable!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments ... it's encouraging!

I'm glad the pictures are helping.

You gals made me laugh about the frogging. I too use it all the time and was only being polite. Like Michelle, I often use ##$#$%$!

OMG, how did I miss page 6? I have not been getting email notices. Oh Dear!

Michelle, what a lovely scarf. So whimsical, I love it! She will be stylin' with her Christmas sweater.

Nicole, Welcome! Do share what you are working on.

This thread was created to assist one another and I'm grateful for this group of gals. You are all so encouraging! Thank you!

If I made a pair of socks like that I would not be able to give them away!!! Those are amazing!

I love that scarf! Especially the santa on the end! I just crocheted a gnome scarf for my sister in laws birthday but yours is way neater!!!

I just finished my 3rd hat and started on the last one. Each one is getting easier and easier :)

Here's Elmo :)

Any suggestions for an easy project after Christmas to keep the knitting going?

The Hats turned out great Heather. The kids will have fun with them. Maybe make hats for yourself and family? I have made headbands too.

Michele: That is such a cute scarf. I really need to learn crochet!

Nicole: Oh yes, please share pictures when you are done!

Heather: Oh my, the hat turned out so darn cute.

I am about halfway through the flying skull shawl. Hopefully it will be done in time to send to my great great niece in time for Christmas. If not, it will have to be a New Year's shawl.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! So much to be grateful!

I finished another pair of socks. My colour work is improving with each knitting project. Yarn wise, I used Rauma Yarn 2-trads Gammelserie (100% wool).

I haven't taken the markers off yet as I am debating re-working the pattern. The foot part seems a tad loose. They are meant to be worn with work/hiking boots. Need to sit on it for a while. Maybe blocking would solve the problem.

Thank you Debbie & Theresa.

I just changed the picture so you can see what I mean by the size. I would start decreasing after the pattern. At this point in time I am leaning towards frogging and re-doing, but it will have to wait as I have another colour work project on the needles!
